Also, locs should be tied up or covered to avoid breakage and all the lint when working a dirty job or lounging around. It's people out here who haven't washed their hair and it turns out the same way (forming a dirty loc naturally). I have free forms and my scalp is clean. I checked it yesterday.😂

Years ago i kept going to see doctor i had constant pain in my neck and both shoulders. It wasnt until i saw different doc. She told me it was my hair doing it because the length was down to my waist and hadn't had a cut for 15 years. It was only ever trimmed. @secret9794 when I had locs, I washed my hair multiple times a week(which is actually too frequently) and I still had build up inside of my locs. No matter how well you wash your locs, there will be some form of build up (dead skin cells, products, etc) that gets trapped inside of the locs. So when I cut my locs, I had build up in the very center. It was no where near as bad as this guy however.

@secret9794 when I had locs, I washed my hair multiple times a week(which is actually too frequently) and I still had build up inside of my locs. No matter how well you wash your locs, there will be some form of build up (dead skin cells, products, etc) that gets trapped inside of the locs. So when I cut my locs, I had build up in the very center. It was no where near as bad as this guy however.

@@sable7114Nope, a haircut reveals the real man look. Anyhow, when a person's mama tells a young man to get a haircut, or she'll cut it with an electric hedge trimmer .... What's he gonna do? If he balks at that, she makes biscuits for everybody but him. Then he KNOWS he's in trouble. Can't out do mama.

I am a white 62 yr old female. I absolutely love seeing people, any nationality, in their original, god-given hair. The Afro was always my favorite and I see young people going for that some these days! I love it and always tell them! I am not a hypocrite.. I wear mine the same. No color, no perms.. just a cut.
