Lovely level of detail and plenty of activity make this very realistic in my book. The scenes with all the lights working are very atmospheric and what’s really noticeable is that everything is so workaday and ordinary, meant in the nicest possible way. Thanks.
Incredible detail. Loved the station announcement. I’m not a modeller but I really enjoy watching videos like these. I can really appreciate the time and skill that must go into these layouts. Here’s a non-modeller suggestion: How about including the sounds of several carriage doors being slammed just prior to a passenger train’s departure?
OMG mate, those platform.edgers are abso feckinlutely spot on, the station A+++, the line up and the TGs and single buffet but the original 125 as well - wobbly bobbly knees time for me. Excellent Jon
Has the Intercity 125, stopped briefly on its way from London, up to the North East, and it is a cold wintery evening at some point in the Nineteen Eighties?
What a fabulous layout. Incidentally, at 15mph it takes 4 seconds (approx) to cover one coach length. A full HST will enter a station at no more than 30mph, then takes roughly 30-40 seconds from first entering the platform to stopping. Same with starting off. These scale speeds will make it even more realistic...
Thank you. its very kind of you to say. i struggle a bit with speeds. I try to go with what looks right. Appreciate the input. For reference both ends of the station have pointwork which is speed limited to 20 mph to justify slow entance/exit speeds.
Thank you. That is a very kind comment. The weathering works did the job on the deltic. i sent Scott a picture of the actual loco in 1981 and he replicated it. Superb work.

Hi, sorry for delay in answering. Absolutely this!!
How dou you create the platform anouncements? It really gives a true feeling of being at the platform hearing those too.
Hi, thanks, that's appreciated. I use Rail announcement generator. Its on line and you customize the announcement and record it.

amazing ive subbed
Thank you. Appreciate the Sub. Cheers
Weathering on that Deltic looks too real. Those white streaks down the cab near the quarter lights look exactly like the real thing did.
