Mindy, you are confirmation that I’m doing the right thing. It’s now 15 weeks of living in my RAV4 been to 22 states. Spending the winter in Tucson Arizona making quick trips to Yuma and Tombstone and everywhere in between. Even driving up to Phoenix just to stay off the highways and take back roads only. Just prefer to stay out of the cold. Hope to run into you someday. I’ll be heading north in March. I’ve got to get back to Crazy Horse monument, in South Dakota. I was there 15 years ago it is experience everyone should have.

Hello Mindy. If you want a table I would buy a 1x6 the width of your tank and have it rest on the window seals ( across) with a pillow case around each end to not scratch or you could rig something on each side to set it on. Store under cot. Get a seat to sit that collapses. I have a round foot stool and the 4 legs twist by a screw in each leg to the table top. It is padded. A easy diy. And store it under. You could also do the desk board lengthwise if you want it that way. But make sure you polyurethane it. Just a suggestion.

Can’t wait to see the next trip! I would put coconut husk in a bag for when you have to use the cooler popper lol 😂 it will absorb liquid & help with the smell for when you dispose of the bag.

Looks like your no build is off to a great start. I didn't hear you comment on the comfort level of your first time sleeping in a cot. My injured and worn out back couldn't handle it, without, at least a Thermarest, for comfort and keeping in my body heat from below. Happy trails, and fine adventures. 🤸🚙
The full night on it is yet to come. I have little confidence in it without a thermarest, which I own and will likely use. Cheers!

Perfect timing, as I just drove to Walla Walla Honda last weekend for a 1-owner 2005 Element. Drove it back to Amboy, WA, and am now planning what I am going to do with this thing. Your No-build video was good encouragement I am on the right track. I just want to get the hang of the space prior to doing anything with it. I have an inspection with Nick and then will book the "Mindy Lift" in mid-February. I have a bit of tiny house/small space living so I am eager to start my travels with Waldo. Keep the videos coming!

You should get a bike rack for the back and also lock it up to the bike rack and put a cover on it
Too much extra weight to do this with 9th. I am at the max comfortable on my GVW on her and I am not looking to add anymore. Maybe on Tank the Toaster, this Element, I will consider it. Thanks for the great suggestion, Cheers!
