I have seen the previous episode as well and thrilled to say that all of the food items were also typical authentic Sri Lankan stuff.❤ Kudos!! I'm a Sri Lankan, trust me, all the food you've got there are "looks" really good. Actually better than most of Sri Lankan places. I don't really think you will get a better experience here with those food you've eaten. You'll get new recipes but what you ate were really good too. But if you came to Sri Lanka, Just stay with good restaurants okey. Don't try those in usual Sri Lankan Streets. I don't say they all bad, most of them are not that good. Yea.. Come to Sri Lanka one day.. By the way, you all doing great! Pretty cool channel..

I am seeing Srilankan food in detail for the first time and I am surprised to see the colonial influence and the similarities to Indian food especially Goan , Mangalorean and Kerala similarities ❤❤️
Definitly it should get small amount with that coconut rotti then you can taste not much chili chutney . It called LunuMiris - union / chili / lime /salt/ some adding dried fish

Is he not enjoying Sri Lankan food or is he always eating too little?🤔🙁And we usually don't eat that much of red chutney(lunumiris) with one bite of coconut rotti! It's spicy and very little amount of them is enough for a one bite🤗
Our parents gave us lots of herb porridge when we were growing up. GOTUKOLA for the nerves, MUKUNUWENNA for eyesight, WALPENELA for cartilage, POLOS CURRY for breast milk production and FINGER MILLET OR KURAKKAN for high fiber diet. All this knowledge handed down to us by HELAWEDAKAMA doctors who knew how to recognize illnesses just by holding your wrist and judging heart beat. Ancient knowledge of 35,000 to 45,000 years old.
HI. Im 2weeks late. Nice SL food video. I think, you will love another SL restraunt that makes even better egg hoppers than the one you had. Go down 2 H-Town or Houston, Texas, you will find an Sri Lankan restraunt called "Lanka Mex", best spices and egg hoppers.
The sugar cookies are called Nakhathai in India , they also called it the same . You are right those wadas you have had in India with Idli they are called Meduwadas
You must visit Sri Lanka it's soooooo exotic I went for my honeymoon there and the beaches n food and nature are unforgettable❤❤❤
