He was a very funny & very talented performer, who was also clean as in no swearing, so all age groups could enjoy & understand his comedy. His faulty microphone act was totally unique, & he perfected it.
Norman Collier - Entertainment Express - 1983 15.5.23 2209pm so some wank gets yer mam on the phone and effs up the phone call for your enjoying norman collier's act? what kindda scum bag does a thing like that....
I remember seeing him at The Three B's in Bridlington back in the 70's, he had everyone bursting with that faulty mic act. That made him unique, proper comics back in those days.
An utterly simple concept, but Norman took it beyond that, and people loved him for it. Of course that was back in the days that " comedy " meant funny, and not " to preach ". Talent was also an essential, back then, but not now.
Thanks Norman. John Collier John Collier, the window to watch. That one's gone for a Burton. I liked the Big Match. I like swiss roll over . Take one for the team. You must be Bjorn Again. You cannot be Sirius.

Just cannot remember the other gentleman's name, who introduced him. I met the man, once, before he went on stage, in the nineteen seventies, and he was full of fear, until he took to the stage.
@@grandorderofwaterrats5431 Many, many thanks. I shall never forget how he was as stiff as a board, back stage, then when on stage amazing. Peri Como was a man that was booed off stage, drunk as a skunk.

Norman Collier - Entertainment Express - 1981 0604AM 9.5.23 his whole act.... well, he did end up elaborating and taking things a bit further... being a wonky Tanoy system at the working men's club or, as the nouveau riche would have it, at the airport... p.s it's just funny.
Thankyou for all the laughs Norman Collier RIP 🙏
