@@randomizedpancake9463 After 2014 was probably when Monster Jam drove off a cliff. But I must say 2022 was one of the better seasons of the last seven.
Man the memories that just flooded my mind was insane. I will stand with my statement that the best years of the sport was definitely 2008-2014 until it became more about points then just having fun and destroying the track and truck at the same time.
I think Atlanta 2017 should’ve been on the list. The fact that it had epic and iconic saves, huge air, and THREE consecutive backflips would put it for me up at the top.
I feel like Jacksonville 2009 should've been on this list, the freestyle action on that night was just downright crazy, so many insane moves and runs. It's a shame that Monster Jam have not put Atlanta 2010 on the membership but at least we have the full freestyle segment and Square One has shown some racing highlights in his old videos. I'd better get back in touch with him to see if he's got the full racing segment in his archives!
I vividly remember watching it live and the rerun the following morning. It was last uploaded in its entirety in 2017. I remember it being up for a bit.
Monster Jam All Star Challenge 2019, Santa Clara 2015, East Rutherford 2014, St Louis 2014, Atlanta 2012, 2014, and 2017 Show 2, Minneapolis 2013, Anaheim 2009, 2015, 2017, Philadelphia 2010, Pontiac 2006 are a few that I thought about that could’ve made the list
I have a problem with there being 3 2022 shows on here. Yeah they’re good but from what I remember. St. Louis 2010 and 2008 are two of the greatest shows in history. The fact that 2008 Minneapolis where Dennis Anderson hit the double bus stack and survived it should be here. If you go off of unique racing then 2008 Houston show with the table top should be here and even 2013 San Antonio was the first to use the paper clip style racing course. 2007/2008/2009/2010 World Finals were also the best stretch of World Finals shows in MJ history. The Orlando freestyle that’s arguably the best ever with Neil Elliott was another.
The reason that GDTL was able to light the camper on fire was because the officials filled it with flour, which is super flammable when it’s kicked up into dust
some of these 2022 shows shouldn't of been added to the top ten imo. Atlanta 2017 had an amazing two shows, some other 2014 shows have been better, some of the POD tour events were insanely great too, etc
The Tom Meents/Dennis Anderson years will never be topped. The simple fact that anyone could be a rival, let alone a favorite against Dennis in Digger, tells you everything you need to know.
its crazy to me that back in 2011, i was only 6 years old and i still remember when i had gone to that monster jam event, it was my first monster jam event ever and i will always remember that.
Been to 34 live MT shows in my time as a fan since 2006, and taking the trip from Boston to East Rutherford this year was so worth it, as it now sits as the best show ive ever been to
I was actually at that show in Atlanta on January 9th 2010! Also World finals 9 was the first monster jam event I ever watched on tv I was rooting for batman and went crazy when he won!
Their needs to be a part 2 Jacksonville 2009 notbon list travesty Atlanta 2012, Jacksonville, st. Louis 2012 all had incredible freestyle shows and Minneapolis 2007 to kick off 2008 season also added to this list
Man, these videos are so good! Scott Douglas should collaborate with you on some interesting stats & facts regarding the history of Monster Jam events. Also, suggestion, it'd be pretty cool if there was an "honorable mentions" section of nominees that just missed out on being in the Top 10 list just to let fans know what other awesome things happened but besides the best of the best. Brings back so many good memories!
If any show should've been on this list, it should have been world finals 2! This show had great racing and all around great freestyles with some very memorable moments!
2008 wasn't Meents's lucky year for the World Finals... 1. He was dominant in the racing competition. But after beating Jim Creten in Bounty Hunter, Tom's truck got mechanical issues and the team ran out of time to get it fixed. Causing his night to be done and Jim Creten to return for the championship race. 2. he was going big in the freestyle championship, but he went overboard with the landing and rolled over...
Great list! If I were to add 1 show that wasn’t featured it would definitely be the 1 and only monster jam all star challenge. That show was fantastic in my opinion
I went to a mosnter jam event in San Diego on January back in 2015, it was amazing, i wish we can have someting like those events in Mexico. We had in Mexico an event called Monster Truck Showdown but it ended indefinitely because a drunk driver ran over a crowd of people in 2013:(
Atlanta show 2 best show in my opinion outside of World Finals. CRAZY action, a ton of save and what, the point s between Todd, Adam, and Neil was like 4 or 5 in the mid 300 range? That show along with Atlanta 2012 are in my top 10 for sure.
ot surprised tampa 2014 was on this list! One of my most favorite shows I have been to out of the 13 years of going to tampa. No doubt a top 10 all time show

my first ever monster jam show was San Antonio 2006 I don't really remember that show that much because I was only 5 years old at the time but it kicked off a tradition where every year that my grandma had the money she would give my dad and me tickets to monster jam for our birthday she did that 2009-2011 and 2012 it was 10 years to the day before I got to go to my next monster jam show which was San Antonio this year and I was the only one that went and the cool thing about that was my grandma was slated to go to North Carolina for 2 weeks around that time so guess what she ended up doing she texted me about a week before she was supposed to leave say hey request the money for the tickets via cash app and I'll give you the money for the tickets plus a pit pass and some money so you can get some food and stuff I did that she gave me about I don't know 180 bucks I bought a ticket pass and then I spent the rest of it for like food and stuff for me that day and then grandma gave me 20 bucks that day or Nana gave me 20 and then I guess what I use that money for I bought a yearbook and a ball cap for 40 I had a little bit I was a little bit short but luckily there was some nice fans in the in the line that gave me enough to get the ball cap and the yearbook I still have both and I'm going to cherish those for years to come
