You're most welcome Amrit. For open source datasets, you really have to be precise, as the situation is different from country to country, and from dataset to dataset. In general, the best satellite image dataset you can download for entire world is the Sentinel 2 dataset. As for vector, it used to be the Digital Chart of the World, which is a 1:1,000,000 scale digital map of the world. OpenStreetMap is now the best, and highest resolution dataset, but it's not complete for every part of the world, and it's a crowd sourcing exercise, so I don't know about the accuracy of the output (although it has been used by many big brands as the main basemap of the world such as the popular Strava application) Downloading this particular data is illustrated in this video.
