I watched this movie (twice) in a very antique theatre which almost looked like an opera house . Both times I got a balcony seat. It was the perfect atmosphere to watch this movie I was sobbing from the balcony in the end, just like Heloise 😫
@@chgreengrass4934 That sounds amazing😭I saw it in a tiiiiny cinema (so not anything as cool as you but I liked how very intimate it felt) just before the pandemic and it never leaves my mind still. It's my absolut favorite movie ever. Edit: I almost went twice too but didn't bc I didn't wanna go alone :( And the first time seeing it was so amazing I didn't wanna ruin the memory

The moment she sees the 2nd portrait of her with her child...it shred my heart into pieces. To see she´s still out there, living a life of her own...is she happy? Does she even think about you anymore? But no matter what, she´s GONE and that´s a burden you have to live with for the rest of your life
I've been wanting someone to do a video showing what Heloise is remembering while she listens to the song at the end and this came darn close to what I was picturing. Thanks for making it!
The director Céline Ciamma and the actress Adele Haenel was together but they finally break up. When you think about the relationship between Marianne and Heloise is like Adele and Céline. The artist and the art. When I watch the final shot of Heloise, I watch a goodbye of Céline to Adele
Wow I didn't know they broke up! I remember finding out about them after watching Water Lilies, a film by Celine with Adele as a main character as well. They were together pretty long weren't they...
0:21 i got whip lash from them turning around so much 😂 I love this work! well done! This piece of music will forever be ingrained in my mind and make me think of this movie.
The most evocative film ever. I can't believe it's had such an impact on me. Thanks for this video.....powerful editing to accompany the musical score. Fantastic....
I just watched this film last night, went to bed thinking about that last scene, woke up thinking about that last scene and now I am here watching this and want to cry all over again. Great video. Thanks :D
I want to fall in love and someone to fall in love on me like this song and these ladies, strong, cunning and rushing but not as fast... a little longer, lingering..
This makes me want to uncontrollably cry from a theatre balcony
EpicBeard815 I’ll start from my house balcony😭

My opinion, yes. I agree.
Don't regret, remember.
Well she did go to see mari favorite orchestra song, and cried about it after many years later.. so yeah I think she does 🥲
This movie...it's like a moving painting. Every scene is an art. The music, the lines, cinematography and the actors. Just Amazing.

Ahhh thank you for that! ❤❤💞
1:03 it's like Marianne is playing the violin with her coloring pencil. The beat is syncing. So good!

It’s a gimmick right? Turn around?
@@shaharshapiro1890 this struck me as so beautiful particularly because it seems like a parallel of Orpheus wheeling round to see Eurydice! :(

Just watched this film again amazing. It's all 'vous vous vous' throughout then right at the end it's 'tu'. Eurodice tells Orpheus 'Retourne-toi'.
Amazing as always! 😍

I watched the movie before bed and the sudden ghost appearance spooked me
Que coisa linda ❤️
Re-release in french. The emotion is so universal.

Oh shit I didn't realize what song she was playing on the harpsichord. I feel stupid. That makes the movie better lol
Perfect
you are a perfect video maker
Is this the orchestration from “portrait of a lady on fire” the song also being known as “Vivaldi”
remarkable!

I probably would turn
I'm in a similar situation. She did not turn - all I have left is to remember.
I'm the Heloise in the situation...
