      How long did it take?

    • @lolao.3739
      @lolao.3739 4 роки тому +4

      TinyTajee like two days. But I wasn’t constant with it. The parting is what really took me so long because I didn’t have two standing mirrors so I kept having to go back-and-forth with holding one up and the parts just weren’t coming out straight so that really took me a goooood minute. So long😭 But if you have somebody that can help you part then that really shouldn’t be too bad long. The actual wrapping of the hair after you crocheted it in took me like 4/5 hours. I had like 49 locs in total. And she was right when she said attaching the hair the night before makes it go faster!

    Is it 5 packs of hair of each size or 5 packs all together???

    Would you suggest wrapping the twist hair makes them last longer? I used the method where instead of wrapping extra hair around the loc, I braided my own hair and then unraveled some of the loc and twisted it around and I basically just hid my natural hair inside the loc, but I also have curly but silky light skin girl hair (I don't mean to be offensive when I say that but if you know you know) so my hair kind of easily slips out, same with braids. The locs I did didn't look horrible but I'm also a beginner so I just want them to last as long as possible.

      definitely wrap the curly hair around your hair and the loc instead of just tucking it. it will last longer this way and if you wrap tight enough your hair won’t slip out! i’ve seen that tucking method but i don’t think it’ll last as long. 💕

    Wow these are so cute 😍..How long do these typically stay up?

    • @SamilJulissa
      @SamilJulissa  4 роки тому +3

      Octavia Hall i’m not sure bc this is my first time having them in but i can say they’re lasting pretty well! the bright side of this style is the look is “distressed” so after a couple weeks, they still look great 💕

    You could’ve also just tucked the braid in the faux lock before adding the passion twist. You would’ve only twisted at the roots. Saves A LOT of time. 🙃

    • @SamilJulissa
      @SamilJulissa  3 роки тому

      i’ve seen that method too. personally not what i wanted to do bc i wasn’t sure about the longevity but either method works! 💕

    • @SamilJulissa
      @SamilJulissa  4 роки тому +1

      Mo Mo thank you 💕 and yes! ! i have a jumbo bonnet. i’ll usually just use a scrunchie to put the hair together then put it in the bonnet. the hair is very weightless so really it’s not a hassle to put it up like you would think
