    Any chance for a vid on Souped up/Serum style bass for example Serum & Benny V - Let's Go, or Serum Fly Paper & Wiretap VIP? I assume they aren't too difficult to make but I've only just started with sound design so a tutorial would be great.

    2 questions, how do you add the serum fx into a mixer Chanel? And can you make a riddim sound design tutorial? Something that sounds like Yakz, algo and Deucez?

    • @HAKOBO
      @HAKOBO  4 роки тому +1

      If you go on Xfer's website and sign in you can find Serum FX which is a standalone plugin on the download page. And my next sound will most likely be riddim related.

    The sound is cool, but mostly you're just filming how you dial-in your preset. Please, explain WHY you make each decision and let us hear how each step changes the sound.

      With all due respect, I get really confused at comments like this. I play the sound on several different occasions, some steps flat out don't add enough to the sound to make a huge difference or at least at this point I don't feel it necessary to stop the flow of the video to overplay the sound just because I turned one setting on. Each step of the way I say what the step does and how it affects the sound (I explain that bandpass is important for vowel type basses, I explain that distortion and compressor brings more sound out, the fundamental of this bass is tripling down on filtering midrange frequencies, hyperdrive can be used to change the effect of the sound using the detune). I might have glossed over the standing phaser and EQ, but this falls more into midrange effect. It's like someone wants a full philosophical breakdown of each knob as its touched, but truth is 90% of the reasoning behind sound design is "it sounds good therefor I did it".
