- BMW E30 318is after our FULL SERVICE that includes DRY ICE CLEANING - PAINT CORRECTION - FULL INTERIOR DETAIL - CERAMIC COATING and other small things. TOTAL around 60man hours
in total and let me tell you that we really enjoyed this job especially I did because I own few E30s and I really love them, so when this client (super nice guy) contact me and told me what everything he want to do with his E30 I was a little bit sceptic because people usually not spending thousands of dollars for car that is worth few thousand dollars, but when this client show up at my place and told me whole story about the car then I totally understand why he doing that. Perfect car, perfect story and great owner who really love his car.

Jacob detailed and ceramic coated my Mercedes S560. All I do I take it to the spray wash, and blow it dry with a leaf blower. Totally touchless. The beads of water just fly off. He did a great job.
This is a level of car detailing rarely seen or available, amazing dedication to the client.

me too, i've seen cleaning like extreme. But this is so way above anything else
The tools and chemicals that have come out in the last 14 years have made this possible. Plus another level is to disassemble the car and do it piece by piece. Have seen a couple like that.
It's not. This car had everything changes as far as suspension goes. They merely cleaned the caked-on dirt. It's not possible to clean an old rusty car with this method. And even if you do, you need to follow up with protective agents because this method removes them.
it’s cool, but too much unless you’re trying to sell and even in that case people don’t really care about a little dirt here and there.
I want to give my 89 Mustang a detail like that!!

That is probably the most thorough car detailing I’ve ever seen on a car especially a black one at that. Never heard of dry ice cleaning. Learn something new every day I guess.

„A car worth a few thousand dollars“
A convertible e30 in that condition (the condition it was before) will cost you about 15.000 Euro in Germany, and with that level ob cleaness you can sell it in „perfect condition, like new“ for much more. Plus you will be the Star on the Next car/Oldtimer Meeting.
Yes same here… the car worth around $25-30k now after our service I wouldn’t be surprise that there will be buyer for $35k+ but this car never will be for sale.
And I used “few thousand dollars” Because $30k is compare with hundred or million dollar cars we working on and even that people don’t want spend money like this owner. It’s very rare with “cheap” car like that.
the important point here is that its a convertible. and even small engined convertibles always hold their value better.

I'm not a fan of convertibles OR BMW 4-bangers, BUT this ride was SOO clean after they finished it. I would definitely flex in this & keep it in showroom condition.

I have done at least 4 similar jobs on E30’s (with 2 or 3 times more hours than this black one) unfortunately never documented the process… just before and after. So now finally I did 🙂
This was a treat to watch - I has an '87 E30 convertible and watching it get pulled apart and cleaned brought back a lot of memories working on this car. This is pretty incredible.

How's she holding up? I just replaced the fuel tank on the 750 and finally got the suspension all new again. Found some cool poly bushings for the rear trailing arms by powerflex. GL with your baby! Oh yeah, they have a head unit stereo for E38 out now! Anant4

the question i feel like everyone would love to know the answer to is how much would something like this cost?
I guarantee close to $3,000-$5,000 easily
At least $12,000 if not more.
In the Netherlands a shop does this (stipt polish point shop) and its near 10 to 15k in euros
easily 1k and this is something you should reserve for show cars only.
60 hours of work X shop rate of let’s say $100 an hour would be at least $6k I would guess
