H Darren, great review! I have driven my Ora since October and here are a few comments. Once you lock the car, the state of charge will appear on your screen. The app is buggy...hopefully they will update it soon. Btw the front seats have the massage function which I love to use while driving. And yes, all who sat in the car simply love the classy 2 tone interior + roomy rear passenger space. The 360 camera is really good and i am impressed with the hands free intelligent parking. So far it has been 100% successful in identifying "empty" lots even in the absence of road markings. Much better than my Honda e which fails to detect the lots most of the time.
It’s cute. In Malaysia the premium pricing over BYD is misplaced in my view and we took it off the shortlist for the reason of price, absence of app, just 4 speakers and the “400” had compromised on several aspects of ADAS. On the test drive the dings and dings drove me mad; in our Dolphin it has been essentially completely turned off so it’s super quiet but that did require a little workaround though it was quick and DIY.. Like BYD the packaging under the hood is reminiscent of old ICE cars; I imagine on purpose to breed familiarity and I don’t like it; a waste of space and a lost opportunity and on top, the mandatory service schedule is a lost opportunity possibly betraying engineering not done from first principles with ICE modules reused both in terms of final ratio gearing, AC and cooling. Given that the trunk is quite a bit smaller that the Dolphin especially with seats folded (500 liters smaller) the packaging and absence of trunk renders the car far less practical given the overall exterior size. But it is cute so there’s that.
Would recommend SP app for most Singaporeans. It has the widest public charging network across the country. The rest are optional and depends on what’s nearby your office, home & usual hangout spots (eg. shopping malls/East Coast Park).

Thanks for sharing your experience with your Good Cat! It’s so much roomier than most people imagine a compact car to be haha
Hi @daywalker8427, are you based here in SG?
Very good review. Thank you
Thanks Raymond!

Good points and agree!
I agree. I was hopeful at first but when the pricing came out, we totally took it off the list. We are getting an Atto 3.
Love it, perfect for the missus 😂😂
Nice Pink Porsche!
Got any car brochure 😅?
Here it is: www.cyclecarriage.com/sg/-/media/jccl/ora/files/brochures/good-cat/2023/ora-good-cat-brochure--specs-sheet.pdf
How many charging apps should I download for EV car?

Take care Daren, can hear your sexy voice 😅
Thanks, Sheldon! Losing my voice and slowly recovering!
Lack of app access is really disappointing.
Agree! Hopefully it comes soon
