If you are “hair illiterate” like me then this video is for you! This was every bit of the type of video I needed. Great step-by-step verbal instructions with clear demonstration of what you are describing. I especially appreciate that you didn’t jump-cut between your steps. Thank you!!!
Thank you I bought these rollers at the dollar store bur have never used them, you are the only person to show step by step how to use them! Well done sweetie!
Soy la única que habla español? Excelente, he visto miles de vídeos de como ondular el cabello sin calor y definitivamente tú eres la mejor! Te ganaste una suscriptora. Saludos desde Ecuador.
I just watched a different tutorial on this and it came out AWFUL I was like nope not doing that... Then I came across THIS one!! 😍 this one was on point!!!
This is so gorgeous!!! It actually looks way more natural (I mean like natural curls not like soft and natural) then when people use a curling iron!! :)
annie was writing finals, trying to visit family and taking some time for herself by going on a bit of a vacation! :) it's refreshing to see such a gorgeous girl focused on her school work and all of that work paid off since she graduated from university summa cum laude! honestly, if you are ever frustrated and wondering why she hasen't posted then just check her blog. she updates it a lot. :)
OMG OMG LOVE LOVE THIS:) those curls look amazing and super pretty. The only thing is my hair when i curl it like 5 minutes later all the curls are out my hair is SO THICK!!!!!! Thanks for another awesome video
I LOVE this video and you look so amazing when it's done!! I was thinking of buying "Curlformers" hook curlers for my upcoming wedding, but they are $75+ for the kind for super long hair like I have. I found these flexible rollers at Dollar Tree and I think the finished curl is equally as pretty or maybe even better. I'm going to use these and put one side up like in your video. Thank you for posting this. I can't wait to watch all your videos now!!
I used these a few nights ago! Found them at a thrift store for $1 I have long thick wavy hair so I had to use bigger sections. Mine came with 11 or 12. Well, I recommend using it on semi-damp hair to get the best curl. So spray your hair with some leave in conditioner or water (combo of both) as you curl each section. Then comb it out as you see necessary. Honestly they come out just as gorgeous as the hot rollers. Love them!
I've been using flexi rods since 2013, bu a different application method. Yours are so beautiful and I'm going to give this tutorial a try to see how it turns out! Thanks for posting this! 😍
Ive watched a few of these and found it bery hard to follow even through pause and rewind but jus followed this and its so easy and clear to follow gonna leave them over night fingers crossed this one works 🙏🏻🤞😀
Annie I can't thank you enough for this video. I've been trying to find an easier & faster way to get pretty curls. I have very difficult hair to deal with...its very thick, frizzy & pretty much does what it wants
Another tip is that you can take a shower then put them in. I know my hair is way easier to control when it's wet. I find they stay longer that way personally. I'm getting ready for a dance tonight and after I take a shower I'm putting them. I'm going to let the air dry a little, then blow dry. After that I'll take them out and dry out anything that's still wet. I suck with curling irons....
I've been using Flexi rods for many many years (since I was a teenager- they're not new lol) and I'm really good with them. They didn't work because if you put them in wet hair you MUST leave them for at least 6 hours- preferably overnight 10-12 hours. You get awesome curls this way and they last ages (a few DAYS in my hair) but if you don't have that much time you can put them in slightly damp hair- after having a shower you can let them air dry if you don't want any heat or you can blow dry until hair is 80- 90 percent dry and then you can leave them in for as little as 4 hours. They won't last as long but they'll look as good. The quickest way to do them is on dry hair moistened with gel/setting lotion/ hair spray and then hair spray once the rods are in- this gives a bit of a looser curl but you can get them done in only a few hours. On wet hair- ALWAYS overnight
You need to wait until your hair is mostly damp or it will not dry all the way. Also if you blow dry after you take the rollers out it will blow out the curl. If you need to blow dry then do it over while the rods are still on.
Hi Annie, I always follow up on your videos and wanted you to know that they are amazing. I love watching your toutorials, and your beutiful :). I have bought the rollers yesterday, put them on last night and styled it like you have in this video. I AM IN LOVE WITH MY HAIR NOW!!! Thank you!!! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!
I love, love, love this tutorial! It helped me so much because I struggled with these so much! I do have a question, what size are those rollers? Thanks ♥️
Saludos desde España 😘!! Te quedaron preciosos 🥰 y me pregunto si se pueden hacer con el líquido y neutralizante del rizado permanente respetando los tiempos del fabricante con tu misma tecnica de rolls ?
Gorgeous! I LOVE LOVE LOVE all of your videos! you were my inspiration for the last few months since i found your channel. keep these videos coming dear! xoxo
I like your technique better than other videos about Flexi rollers. Because you show how to keep the end of the hair in place by twisting only half the hair and then rolling up the rest of the way.
Thank you so much for making this video! I bought these curling rods a few weeks ago and the instructions for putting them in werent that clear, and this tutorial really helped me! :)
I love your videos! You were the first person I ever subscribed to ages ago on my other channel (cassette media)- and now I'm so hooked I've started my own! I only have an iphone at the moment so its a working progress haha! xx
Thanks i needed some ideas for my long hair, Going to a works Xmas dinner soon. Don't use styling irons. My hair is blond gray and might use a nice clip to put in mine.
Hello! Wanted to share my honest experience trying this out: - My hair was curled v well but it lasted for about half a day - Sleeping with those things didn't make for a comfortable snooze - Will 100% try this again for a special 'occasion' but I'd rather put them on during the day time for a night event. Anything for that comfortable zzz really. I've straight to slightly wavy hair. I don't know my hair porosity etc.
The “just wrap your hair. And roller and bend in place” in other videos was a vague thing to they ends, who became, a rodeo in my bathroom.😂 your option of twist lower halal, and roll the upper part, is sensible. My results are bomb!
When you get to the top of your head try and roll it over once more even if it hurts then make sure you tightly close the rollers up 😁 hope this helps 😂
I loveeee watching your videos i seen them all.. Im so glad you are back i really missed watching your videos.. Love, love, love your personality btw =].. its so refreshing watching your videos and all your makeup tips are so helpful
Looks great! Seems fast & easy to do. Only ten rollers blew me away. Can I ask what texture is your natural hair? I have thick hair & attempted this look with the old fashion plastic rollers in the past. It was exhausting getting all those rollers set. In the end I just was unable to sleep in them. So I am wondering if It may just be my hair texture or if these rollers being they are longer and softer will make all the difference.
I love curly hair- looks great, but I have wavy hair and when I tried this style my hair got so tangled at the back. How do you keep it from turning into a birds nest by the middle of the day??
I just found these rollers I forgot I had them so I wanted to check them out my hair was wet I colored my hair orange today and I put in the rollers kind of going for a pinup look with longer hair even though my hair is not as long as yours so we’ll see how it works with a wet set. i’ll probably get impatient and have to use the dryer.
I have these, and have been doing this for awhile and love it. It scared me at first because it was WAY too curly, then got pretty when i combed them out :)

The only video in which you can REALLY see how to use some rolls. And she knows how to use them. Thank you!!! And you are beautiful! Kiss
Intervento menisco del ginocchio
I was literally going to say the same thing! This is the best tutorial I’ve seen on these❤
Thank you I bought these rollers at the dollar store bur have never used them, you are the only person to show step by step how to use them! Well done sweetie!

One of most helpful tutorials I have ever seen. She really teaches just what to do! Thank you!
I just watched a different tutorial on this and it came out AWFUL I was like nope not doing that... Then I came across THIS one!! 😍 this one was on point!!!
Agree 100%
Looks like this was five years ago pretty girl how did yours turn out? Did you have wet hair or damp hair did you use any product first?
@@Timetraveler1111MN I’m wondering that too!
I love how you are a little more realistic than some of the other videos I watched. Your hair is also so full and I love it!
This is so gorgeous!!! It actually looks way more natural (I mean like natural curls not like soft and natural) then when people use a curling iron!! :)

My cousin just gave me some of this rolls and I had no clue how to actually use them, you saved my life lol!
What's the name of the product
The fact that you even have highlightes in your hair makes it even more beautiful and makes your hair defined and really pretty :)
OMG OMG LOVE LOVE THIS:) those curls look amazing and super pretty. The only thing is my hair when i curl it like 5 minutes later all the curls are out my hair is SO THICK!!!!!!

DAMN ONLY 11-12?! I USED 19! XD AND MY HAIRS NOT EVEN LONG
ive been using the exact same method for years. it works beautifully. your hair are so pretty.

Best video on UA-cam for how to use flex rods. No detail left out; very helpful!

true
Update:This did not work most likely because I was rushed and din't dry them enough.

The background music is nice because it matches everything. You
seem confident and I admire that.
THE SCARF IDEA IS BRILLIANT! I would always just sleep in my rollers and it was uncomfortable. I love a deep side part with curly hair!!:D

aaaaaah annniiiie you are back!!!!!!
Any tips on how to get the roller to stay in? For some reason no matter what I do as soon as I let go of the roller it unravels about half way :/
emily_brandy tl
jurassic
When you get to the top of your head try and roll it over once more even if it hurts then make sure you tightly close the rollers up 😁 hope this helps 😂
emily_brandy Underware? I'll have to make sure my boyz aren't home! 😂 I do have a Satin Cap...Think that will work? Thanks!!
Is it better to do it with wet hair or do the curls stick for more than a day if you do it with dry hair? Thanks!!!! Really great tutorial :)
Yayyy you're back....Missed You....

I've missed you soo much!! Glad to see a new video. :D
Omg, Annie back in the day😍
Looks great!
Can you wash it put the rollers in and blow dry it would it give you the same effect
Love it! Are the blue/purple rollers bigger? I mean, does that ones make your curls less tighter?
i was just wondering if those rollers are confontable to sleep in?? your hair by the way looks AMAZING ...i totally want to do these for my hair
So pretty! The curls look so natural, I wish I could do this but my hair is so THICK I would look crazy
Jeah Annie! Finaly you did a video!
Love the curls! How long do the rollers need to stay on if I don't sleep with them?
At least 3 hours unless you have really thick hair like me
you're back!!
I love curly hair- looks great, but I have wavy hair and when I tried this style my hair got so tangled at the back. How do you keep it from turning into a birds nest by the middle of the day??
annie! i love your videos ! did you do something to your eyebrows? are they thinner?
Thanks Annie! I've been wanting to know what to do with those foam rollers for a while! Another idea, please make a video on using hot rollers.
yayayaya i miss u annie :) this looks amazin and defo gonna get some rollers :) xxx
seeing this video in my subscriptions box made my day!
