Love watching all your travel videos. I feel like I'm traveling with you in all these different places. I'm living my travel dreams thru your videos and enjoying every minute of it. Thank you Chris ❤
Sure. And dig up some of the mass graves whilst you're celebrating the 1964 massacre. Plenty of those around right? Shame on the Zanzibaris and tourists for celebrating the massacre of 1964.
Near Kendwa rocks stay in a boutique hotel called Lazy beach hotel. Not a luxurious place but it's right on the beach and they have friendly rates for accommodation. It's true food is expensive and not that great in all restaurants in Kendwa, even in the kendwa rocks restaurant itself.
For something different take a shovel with you and dig up the skeletons of some of the innocents who were hacked to death and shot in 1964. Over 20,000 murdered. Come to Zanzibar but careful where you step because there are still plenty of unearthed human bones of murdered people there. Great fun right? Shame on you.
How DOES the diving compare to SE asia??? Do you still think mafia/ pemba/ zanzibar is worth it for a scuba-oriented trip? I am just a beginner (planning on getting PADI) and a budget traveler so was wondering if you would recommend saving that cash (sounds like the currents can be quite strong around east africa?) and instead getting padi in Asia. Would really appreciate your honest opinion...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
does anyone else have an opinion? i got my PADI open in thailand and SSI advanced in vietnam and both were awesome. zanzibar is just.. a totally different landscape.
Love your videos! I'm curious whether you ate the fresh fruits, lettuces, etc., that were in your videos? Our travel clinic cautioned against eating any fruit that we did not peel ourselves or pre-wash with a 50/50 bleach and water solution. I get the whole travelers d*** problem. Just curious how you found the sanitation, etc.
@@ChristineLozada I had a stomach virus in Paje because I ate octopus that wasn't refrigerated in at a tiki bar. I would suggest eat strictly from hotel restaurants.
Hello there, I just booked 2 weeks early June. Im staying in Jambiani, but I would love to see more of the island. Has anyone experience with renting a bike, is it safe for a female to drive alone?

Always cut your own fruit in the 3rd world.
In upmarket restaurants with 4.5 to 5 star reviews its safe to eat, mostly.
