"If I Don’t Go To Hell" was my new favorite from last week, And an interesting experiment by Mr. Green, who roamed various cities and met with street peformers to sample their natural, acoustic voice and then synthesized and mastered it into the track. Featuring lyricist Pace Won and Vinnie Paz and street vocalist, Janice, this track really shines for a number of reasons: (1) the original sample source/conception, (2) the well-mastered, acoustic sound and (3) the afterlife concept from Pacewon fearing Hell over Heaven - at (1:53) "It's just like a movie by Martin Scorsese, where the lead character's arrogant as JAY Z. Delirious, idiotic and crazy. Rambunctious, self-centered and lazy. Stingy, egocentric and shady. And God sent his only son to save me? So, I kneel and pray to the most high that I don't go to hell when I die!"
