Exactly! I didn't even understand that argument. "Well, she does have a son." Yeah, and she's a psychopath. That child is better off without her. I know this is a much more extreme case, but I was reading an article yesterday about a man who raped his daughter, starting at age 11, and had 7 (I think) children with her. He only got a few years in prison (this was in another country) and someone commented and said that the short sentence was good because the children shouldn't have to grow up without a father. Hello! The father is a rapist, child molester, kidnapper, etc. I hope he never has contact with those children again.

Listening and watching Kendall reminds me of sneaking into my big sister’s room late at night and listening to all her stories about her friends and crazy people she knew from being away at college.
She started crying way too quick when they told her he had been killed. It was like she was waiting for the words so she could “break down”. There was no moment for her to take it in, or absorb the info, she didn’t even question how, why, when who....a normal innocent person would have had a million questions besides....”can I see him?”
it felt fake to me because of the lack of processing time. when you're told a love one is dead, it takes a moment of denial and shock but she went into hysterics straight away
nah, even if this weren't fake, this is seems like a normal reaction. The police was at her hosue and the officer had already told her there had been "an incident" involving her husband. Most people would fear their loved one could have died and many would then immediately start to cry when they arrive home and hear the news, just like she did. It's not weird at all - to be honest, I don't even think she was faking it. Whether she was shocked that her husband was actually dead or relieved that it was finally done - there definitely were some emotions and a lot of released tension going on.
There was barely any time for the words to come out of his mouth. From personal experience, I remember just before I found out my dad had died, my mom said she had to tell us something and she had this very weird, somber attitude which immediately set off my alarm bells. I thought, maybe she just found out that she has a terminal illness. Then she said my dad got sick and had to go to the hospital, and then she said he was dead. It was like having an out-of-body experience. I cried, but I wasn't able to actually feel that much emotion until years later. I know that everybody processes things differently, but I'd say that being in a state of severe shock isn't very conducive to responding instantaneously with such emotional intensity, and moreover that having some presentiment that a death might have occurred does not decrease susceptibility to shock.
John Dee everyone is different, when I get bad news I stay really quite and ask them questions, then when I process all the information I might cry, not always tho, a lot of people see that as suspicious but that’s just how I personally take bad news, like I didn’t cry when my grandpa died because my mother and I (we cared for him at home.) already sensed/ knew he had a good few days left because he was so weak.
When I found out my aunt who died who I was extremely close with she basically raised me I reacted like that and almost passed out. We never know how people are going to react maybe it seemed fake because we know it was
I knew immediately. She reacted way to quickly. You are in shock when something like that happens. It takes a minute to get to that point. Your mind can't wrap itself around that.
Nicole Hanes This. I have been in the room when my boyfriend got a call that his dad had tragically died very suddenly- this is not even slightly how he reacted. You actually have to take in what the person is saying before you react, at least a couple seconds to process. This chick was starting her fake reaction before the officer was even finished saying that he was dead
It’s always hard to say when it’s dealing with reactions to extreme trauma- like death. But..., yes, this girl is ridiculous and was so obvious about it. I don’t know how she thought she was gunna get away with that performance.
Seriously, though XD I have a nervous laugh when I am really uncomfortable, and that was in full force through the first watch of that! Especially after he tells her "I don't have time for this." Cue to real laughter after finding out why he doesn't have time for this!
Maybe when she set the whole thing up she was like hell yea kill him,but when they told her he's dead, even though it was fake,it finally hit her, she was like "omg he's actually dead" maybe it was guilt like "omg I set this up I'm an effin monster" ya know?
I think that is a natural response when you are in a tense state for while, she was expecting the whole thing, so then they told her that's is the way the body releases tension, plus the reality that finally happened. Sociopath experiences those things too and the can fake at the same time very well...so those two things together make the perfect formula to make it seem real.
I don't know that I agree that it was too quick, but it was certainly at an odd time. I can see her tearing up earlier when the cop first mentions her husband (almost a sense of dread) or being more in shock and taking more time, but she knew what he was going to say. She rehearsed it.
Tyesha Shelton i was thinking the same thing. If it was real, she would first think it wasn’t true. That she just needs to see him and there is a moment of shock and disbelief, emotional limbo, not just immediate tears.
The fact that she had a son had no bearing in her sentence. You said one of the reasons she only had to serve 8 years is because she had a son. The judge actually mentioned that fact in closing arguments because the state argued she got pregnant to manipulate the court and then the defense and the state went back and forth on that and the judge finally stated hey, in the end it really doesn't matter, she could have gotten pregnant because she felt she really wanted a baby and be a mother and she could have done it to manipulate the court there is no way of knowing but in the end it will have no bearing in my sentencing.
Is it just me or does she starts "crying" a second too soon, I saw this on tv a couple years ago and thought this then as well, she should be serving 20 years in my opinion, Michael was lucky that the friend went to the cops because he probably would be dead.
She should have gotten life. Had she really gotten in touch with a “real” hit man he would be dead. She would have gotten more than 16 yrs. She was cold enough to set this up she should have to serve time. As far as her child goes... he doesn’t need to be raised by someone like her anyways. Damn she’s cold hearted.
Attempted murder should have the same length as a successful murder. People who try to kill someone and fail are no better than the ones that manage to succeed.
@@Andreawbs the child would be without his mother BECAUSE his mother was selfish enough to try and kill her own husband. It's messed up but that's what happened. Hopefully the child gets good guardians
Stephanie Harlowe did a really good set of videos on this case as well and in hers the judge points out that Dahlia has ZERO remorse or guilt for what she did. The way he said it was in a kind tone but he points out that she only cares about herself and she was on a campaign to destroy her husband.
The first time I watched her reaction to hearing her husband's death it seemed super fishy to me, even before I knew it was fake. She reacted waaaaay too quickly after the officer said he was dead and she seemingly stopped "crying" after she was brought to the police car and was out of sight from the officer who told her.
Chris K IKR the thing that stood out to me was that she reacted too quickly and how fast she stopped crying and wasn't even softly crying was amazing to me because she just told her husband died, you would think that she would try to still cry afterwards.
My friend got 9 years in prison for embezzlement -so yeah this is absolutely insane too me that she could try to have someone killed and do the same amount of time as someone that wrote a check….
Well the show “cops” was also filming this precinct at the time so I think they were extra excited to put a show on for them on top of wanting to get this woman good!
How can people not be looking at this as “she had a child in those 8 years of house arrest to protect her from going to jail” she should be serving full time in jail and the child should be with other family members.
Ikr? I know I'm a woman, but it is obviously clear that the justice system has gotten messed up because of other women. If the feminists want equality, then men shouldn't be put at such a low level, especially male victims.
There's over 2billion people on UA-cam. How are there not more subscribed to this channel?! She is such a genuine, caring woman. Love, you deserve more!!!
It's attempted murder, it doesn't matter if the victim died (got physically hurt) or not. She should suffer the consequences and not just get away with it. The fact that she had a son does not change the fact that she tried to have her husband killed, it really doesn't justify her past actions. Anyway, great video Kendall, as always :)
When the cop told her her husband was dead, I thought he was being a little insensitive and kind of mean to her... Turn out, he was just a bad actor, a good cop but a bad actor.
I’m sure the cops were trying REALLY hard not to laugh when she started “crying”. 😂😂I also love how they kept it going, bringing the cop in that she set up to kill him. Lol
Cops can act better than most actors. They are VERY brainwashed to remain as calm, emotionless, and unreadable as possible no matter what is happening.
Well to be fair the cop called her at the gym and told her something had happened involving her husband and told her to come home. I dont think any cop is gonna call you and give you good news. If a cop called me and told me that I need to come home my first thought would be that something bad somethings really bad happened to him. Im not defending her by any means im just saying everyone does act differently.
I agree. This is the first time I've seen this case and the first time I saw the clip I actually said out loud ''that was a fast reaction''. It takes time for the human brain to register the information, the fact that she reacted even before hearing the word ''killed'' or ''died'' was weird. OR ELSE if she started reacting from the time the cop said ''there was a shooting'' that couldve made more sense. The timing was off
I think the timing was quite normal. If I see police and yellow stripes and someone says shots were fired and they were sorry I would immediately break down as well
I know! You can tell she was prepping herself on the ride there. He barely let it out before she crumbled. I know we all grieve differently, but with hindsight it is so obvious.
I thought it was odd she was like trying to get him to hold her but he was pushing her away. Made a lot more sense when Kendall explained what actually happened.
I believed her the first time I saw her crying. Her hands shaking, her yelling, that's exactly how I reacted when I was told my dad died.. but!!!!! How in the heck she never asked "What do you mean? How? What happened?" You want to know everything the second you learn someone died
That video of her crying cracks me up everytime. So I got arrested for a dui and she was in my holding cell in palm beach county. She was super quiet and I asked her what she was there for and she wouldn’t say anything. She was quiet the whole time it was weird. When I get out the next day I found out who she was.
@@yanderechan4209 I'm guessing she didn't know what happened when she asked. From what I've heard when people go to jail, it's totally normal to ask people why they're in there. Most people aren't in there for murder or attempted murder. No wonder she was quiet. What a freaking phony!!!
I was having the worst day today dealing with a breakup with someone I have been with for over two years and can I just say you made me feel a little better. I love seeing you upload. Thank you so much.

Dani H and how strange... “hey I’m on house arrest for soliciting to murder my husband, I’m all over UA-cam, wanna come over and do me with no birth control?” Father: “score!” She definitely planned it to get more sympathy from the jury.

Anyone could see it was fake right there. As someone who has been given information just like that by Police, you're unable to react straight away. Your brain goes into a freeze because at first you don't understand or comprehend what you've just been told, especially if it's totally unexpected. In a real world scenario she had a clue because they'd called her, and it was prefaced by "there was an incident at your house" so in that situation you'd be a little on edge, but when the actual news comes it stops you completely. It's like your brain goes on pause. And even then, the overwhelming grief doesn't come straight away. There's a period of disbelief, of incomprehension. That reaction of hers was FAKE AF. Fortunately everybody knew this, and she's now inside.
I felt like everything was sketchy from the beginning when I saw the cops were recording everything... So mmm got me thinking... Also I wish the cops would put this much effort on other cases for example missing people cases.
She's very clearly a psychopath - complete lack of empathy, refusal to accept blame/ease with lying, decent at faking emotions, and only interested in bettering her own situation. She may have had this planned before they even got married. Psychopaths prey on the weak and take as much as they can and take joy in the destruction of another person. It's horrifying and I hope she rots in jail.

I thought exact the same. She was even too soon. Like a nano second early to start the acting lol and she didn't assimilate the info loool
EXACTLY. she accepted the information too quickly.
Cop: Your husband has be-
Her: OMG NO! NO!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
What a manipulative monster...
Exactly. She had to take a minute. Although, the shaking was a good touch
it felt fake to me because of the lack of processing time. when you're told a love one is dead, it takes a moment of denial and shock but she went into hysterics straight away
nah, even if this weren't fake, this is seems like a normal reaction.
We never know how people are going to react maybe it seemed fake because we know it was
My thoughts exactly.
I knew immediately. She reacted way to quickly. You are in shock when something like that happens. It takes a minute to get to that point. Your mind can't wrap itself around that.
Nicole Hanes - Yeah. His reaction was like completely genuine and confused.
I could tell it was fake too. She was straight faced and then boom started bawling into his chest. She didn't look worried or anything
Nicole Hanes everyone is different
Nicole Hanes. The yellow caution tape. Your mind gets clues, your mind immediately thinks, someone died.
It was so heart-wrenching to see her family crying in court for her. Even heartless people like this still have people who care about them.
I wonder if she confessed to them. I feel sorry for her family, what an idiotic thing to do.
Her mother was involved in her fraud and billshit and validates all her daughters awful behavior so heck em all imo

It’s always hard to say when it’s dealing with reactions to extreme trauma- like death. But..., yes, this girl is ridiculous and was so obvious about it. I don’t know how she thought she was gunna get away with that performance.
*slowly deletes paragraph about how immensely insensitive the cops treated her after telling her her husband died*
Seriously, though XD I have a nervous laugh when I am really uncomfortable, and that was in full force through the first watch of that! Especially after he tells her "I don't have time for this." Cue to real laughter after finding out why he doesn't have time for this!
Right! I love this comment!
LMAO ME
I thought the same thing!! Here I am thinking “wtf? This woman’s husband just died and you’re telling her to calm down?!” 😂😂
@@stephanieb88 Am I crazy? Because I thought he was actually nice to her lmao

i believed it!
Her hands were probably trembling from adrenaline rather than any emotion
she had that act down pat
I’m like who’s the father? Does he know why she’s on house arrest, like hello? Insane.
I know, right? I would NEVER WANT to date this girl, let alone have a kid with her! Poor child...never trust mama😞
Many men make their important decisions with the small head. 🙄
She cried waaaay way too quickly.
Deja Spriggs exactly, wouldn't you be in a state of shock at first? Rather than cry the second she heard he was dead. I'd freeze tf up for a lil bit

He doesn't want to see YOU. Well, duh!
What a rollercoaster ride man.

Is it just me or does she starts "crying" a second too soon, I saw this on tv a couple years ago and thought this then as well, she should be serving 20 years in my opinion, Michael was lucky that the friend went to the cops because he probably would be dead.
katou89611 YESSSSSSS im so happy shes in prison . I really hope she doesnt kill mohammed when she comes out
I thought she started crying too early as well
She should have gotten life. Had she really gotten in touch with a “real” hit man he would be dead. She would have gotten more than 16 yrs. She was cold enough to set this up she should have to serve time. As far as her child goes... he doesn’t need to be raised by someone like her anyways. Damn she’s cold hearted.
make the child suffer cause the mom is fucked. makes sense.
@@Andreawbs so she should get off because she has a kid?
Andrea Prospero make the child suffer ???? he would suffer more with her as a parent lmfao what
Attempted murder should have the same length as a successful murder. People who try to kill someone and fail are no better than the ones that manage to succeed.

Plus she seemed more concerned about her dog then her husband
Yeah she got calm dead quick
"Michael wasn't dead" SHOOK
Ugh 😑
My friend got 9 years in prison for embezzlement -so yeah this is absolutely insane too me that she could try to have someone killed and do the same amount of time as someone that wrote a check….

She was definitely practicing her reaction while working out at the gym lolol

I'd never expect the police pulling of something like this. Amazing!
For real some would've done something stupid
Lol they do it all the time
Well the show “cops” was also filming this precinct at the time so I think they were extra excited to put a show on for them on top of wanting to get this woman good!
Especially in Florida
How can people not be looking at this as “she had a child in those 8 years of house arrest to protect her from going to jail” she should be serving full time in jail and the child should be with other family members.
The justice system has a huge bias towards women and mothers. That's a very studied fact, is an even wider gap than race.
How does she have time for relationship on house arrest?
My thoughts exactly
Ikr? I know I'm a woman, but it is obviously clear that the justice system has gotten messed up because of other women. If the feminists want equality, then men shouldn't be put at such a low level, especially male victims.
Yes!
There's over 2billion people on UA-cam. How are there not more subscribed to this channel?! She is such a genuine, caring woman. Love, you deserve more!!!

How'd I miss that
8 years on house arrest? That counts? Wow this system is something else
I wouldn't have given her credit for all those years of house arrest. She was having sex during this time...some jail that is huh?
This is one of my favorites lol she got caught and put on such a good show !
My thoughts exactly WTF is wrong with these people
8 yrs is actually pretty normal for attemped murder
I've seen people get more
Right? Such a criminally lenient sentence.

Doubt it. It’s a pretty messed up situation. I think they’d all just be depressed as f
She started crying before she was told he was “killed” sis should have practiced her timing a bit more 😂
Amy Paris they don't tell you "i'm sorry" to tell you somebody is okay ya know
Well to be fair the cop called her at the gym and told her something had happened involving her husband and told her to come home.
If I see police and yellow stripes and someone says shots were fired and they were sorry I would immediately break down as well
Amy Paris exactly, right away I knew she has planned it.
Dalia: I am giving you my word that it's not true
Michael and everyone who's seen the footage: 👁️👄👁️ the audacity.
That clip never gets old. She started before he even said killed. Such a bad performance😕

plus screaming about how she wanted to see him and ignoring any way she could be of help. because she didn't want to be any help.
