Tf youre talking about, we rarely get hit by any storms, plus were near the Gulf, its to be expected, nothing makes Houston special to these storms, theyre bound to happen
I feel it will it take a more northerly turn and intensify. Loss of power will be the most dangerous aspect of this storm with the extreme heat, but the power companies are in place and standing by to make repairs...God Bless...

Now if only Channel 11 would dump the view of that ugly so-called "Pleasure Pier" rip-off and show a view down Seawall Blvd. instead, with the Gulf on the right side of the photo.

Back in 1980 I drove from Galveston bay to Dallas to get away from Cat 5 hurricane Allen, major tornado damage to Austin TX, That entire coastline has subsided. Everyone should take these storms seriously.
We’ve been here before , this one came around the bend which brings a stronger fear from the past . The fact that it’s moving out is the best we can hope , it’s not that the wind is blowing , it’s what the wind is blowing . Not my line but it fits this storms off and on approach

I knew last week it would come right up into the coastline of Texas....I look at the names of these hurricanes 🌀, this one is name Beryl and it's been burling it's way for 8 days now.....and that's Factual 💯

You've ALL downplayed and underestimated this storm since she was off the coast of South America....off in the Atlantic. Apparently even female-named HURRICANES get underestimated ladies, its not just us!
