I personally feel like doutzen was very much underrated but she's a gem. She didn't get the recognitiom she deserved. And models like hadid sisters and kendall jenner are way too much over-rated. No hate but its nepotism all the way.

Kendall and Gigi already had followings PRIOR to walking the runway, so VS is smart (unfortunately) to include them in the show for the simple fanbase they already draw. It's nepotism in the sense that Kendall wouldn't be so famous without a sister that made a sex tape, scored a television show, and then created a family empire. She's beautiful so chances are she would've been a model. But would she have been the highest earning model in the world at the age of 22 if she WEREN'T part of the Kardashian clan? I seriously doubt it. Just like I don't think Kylie Jenner would be a makeup mogul or Khloe wouldn't be a fitness guru. Gigi became prominent for her relationship with boy banders and other famous friends. They're both beautiful girls and maybe great models, but no, I don't believe they'd be walking the show if they had just like every other pretty model competing to make a name for herself. They became notable models based off their already established names, not the other way around.

When I first saw VS show on TV, (and I had zero idea about the modelling industry) Adriana Lima was the one I really noticed. There was just something about her that is captivating. It could be her eyes but I guess it’s more than that. It’s her character that shines the most among the rest of the models.
