- Like literally everyone else, I've been watching a lot of Netflix since the pandemic started. I finally had a chance to catch up on the Marie Kondo show, and of course, I decided to Konmari my own closet! Do you ever wonder what the inside of a costumer's closet looks like? Well you're at least about to find out what the contents of said closet look like strewn across said costumer's living room floor!

Recreating the chocolate girl is actually my dream project that got me into historical sewing!!! 😮By now there are other projects first, but when i'm skilled enough to do it properly.. Can you tell me what pattern did you use and what you were wearing underneath it? 😊

Anything that I’m really conflicted about I generally say keep for now, but maybe leave it in a separate box and revisit it. You may find that it has turned into a definite keep or you are finally ready to let it go. The Dior Petal dress I would say to keep around for now. You lit up when you were holding it and talking about it.
The petal dress is a prom dress to die for ! Save it, and if/when you meet the young woman who would love it as you do pass it along. Or rent it out.

I low key want that octopus dress but would need to make my own bc I am much more fluffy

I love the video! Really enjoyed seeing your stuff. The only issue is the music was distracting. I think it's okay to just talk and not have music in the background. I'm enjoying your channel, though.
Thank you for the feedback! I’m always torn about whether to use background music, and I’m still really new to UA-cam so I’m still learning. I’ll at least turn it way down for next time, and maybe leave it out completely.
Conversations in Costumes i would keep the music, videos tend to feel a little empty (at least to me) without something, but maybe just turn it down a bit or choose something a little less twangy haha :)
Why do you find long skirts “non wearable “? All my everyday skirts are ankle-to-floor length!
nitpicking bc this poor painting is always misattributed, ‘the chocolate girl’ is a swiss painting, thought to be of a german or austrian girl ❤️
