In fact at his funeral Mclaren sent one of the first built to lead his hearse in , & the driver then took his niece , & nephew for a spin in it . My 2016 McLaren 570S has been a California car all its life and does not have a sagging headliner. 32j miles on mine. Don't paint the lower quarter, McLaren paint is expensive and hard to match. Keep all the old parts until you have completely finished the rebuild. Can't tell you how many times that has saved me when I needed a part number, connector, wiring clip or just take an old part to pieces to see how it works.
Mat armstrong hasnt rebuilt a 540C he rebuilt a 720S much more involved than the low end 540c beginner level mclaren. the amount this kid paid for the wreck and what its going to cost to repair is more than a non category car 2nd hand
Rain, poor tyre tread depth = recipe for disaster ! It's a fools game to skimp on tyres whatever you drive ! I've got Michelin's on my £1000 runaround 👍.

Why would the insurance care what category they have written it off as when they have not paid out? In fact they can’t declare it as an insurance total loss without paying out anything? Story is not adding up here, don’t over egg your story like too many do these days.
I think you'll find they do because that is exactly what they have done. id love for the car to be not categorised but they have falsely categorised as structural damage when there is not any structural damage. they shouldn't be able to categorise the car if they have not paid out but they have. its as simple as that

If there is it can be removed.

How is the car categorized, if the insurance company didn't pay out on it? If you have the V5, it should say on that.
We have and it says it on the logbook, the insurance companies shouldn't be able to do it
