The lathe i have (70-150vsr) did not have rubber feet on the bottom. So it was pretty easy. If the lathe you have has rubber feet and the bolts are not long enough you could probably grab some longer bolts and have it tight, as the stand doesnt have threaded holes.

Just set up the same stand. It’s much easier to assemble upside down on a workbench.
I didn’t even think about doing it upside down.
