Floss/mechanical Carbon/chemical Biobale/biological Floss/mechanical (for any remaining mechanical and to keep biobale from getting into the impeller)

That's all that neccessary. Mechanical, biological, and chemical. Those of the 3 steps of filtration.
If youre referring to phosphate pads or other pads. Those are trash.
