It isn’t goat or reindeer horns but Markhoor the most famous animal found in these beautiful mountainous region & officially national animal of Pakistan.
How generous and kind heart and well educated my country fellows from GIlgit Baltistan The shopkeeper even didn't charge more he said just give me my 1000 not more How beautiful peoples of my beautiful country Pakistan 🇵🇰 especially from NORTHERN PAKISTAN 🇵🇰 There is no scammers ❤❤❤
The mountains and the colour of the lake, seriously out of this world. I've another friend on UA-cam that did the bridge with their 3 young kids...a lot more water then, totally wicked eh bro! What an adventure 👍😊
Pakistan is an amazing country, Indian trolls must be very upset. They at every forum spread negativity, but great to see foreign travellers visiting Pak in huge numbers again, even though, they are faced with alot of anti Pakistan propaganda by Indian funded trolls. Tourism has started to boom in Pak, and great for the country.
As a Pakistani American expat, I have to marvel at your decision to go to Pakistan after seeing the pink slip?? Not that I am complaining; I think you chose some 'off the beaten path' approach and kudos for that. A little suggestion: Always pay the locals in Pakistan the full price; I can see you are trying hard to do that but still leave full money with them. They are just too generous for their own good. Finally, those old squat toilets are really horrible. I can't imagine using them when my stomach is messed up. Thanks for the good work.
Thanks for the advice 😊 I try my best to pay full and tip generously. I also don't want to disrespect / offend with not accepting the kind gestures. It's a fine balance thats for sure.
squat toilets are actually what is recommended position during bowl movement. they are more modern than most people think just needs a new innovation like some kind of auto washer/cover. but the sitting position would actually make bowl movement easier and its easier on stomach you dont gotta push as hard
Hello Chris......by the way....totally agree with your Lecture. Same thing happened to Saif-Ul-Malook lake in Naran.....Over-crowded, hotels built etc. These commodities should be built a mile away from the beautiful places like these. Nature needs space to nurture.
You are absolutely right. There should be some rules and regulations regarding over exploitation of tourist attractions. Otherwise these places will lose their charm.
Hey chris, great that you're able to visit beautiful northern Pakistan, i am an expat been living in Australia for over 20 years, that goat that you saw on your pillows is the national animal of pakistan, it's endangered and it's called Markhor, hope you enjoy the rest of your trip up north and rest of Pakistan, i am envious of you as i was born and raised in Pakistan but never got to visit north but i am happy for ya:)
Worth it, unreal Close to nature Just imagine I am sitting on the balcony have a cup of tea in my hands and just watch blue lake and majestic mountains ❤️ how beautiful is that feelings in my self ❤️
Awesome Vlog! .. my fav part of course other than the beauty of the place was that moment where you checked out your linked-in and realized the blessing of being let go by the Tech Giant.. this very opportunity to explore the nature and beauty is priceless!! Loving the vlogs!! keep up the great work. - American Sardarji ( Sikh )
The hotels are expensive near attabad lake because there are not to many build there. The owners know tourists don't have any other options that's why they are expensive but as more tourism comes in the country more hotels will be built there. Pakistan has so much potential to lead global tourism industry just infrastructure is not there. I hope government will focus on tourism providing more facilities to foreign tourists. Enjoy your journey. Thanks for showing the world what media don't show them.
Actually there was a village which was flooded by heavy rains and thus Attabad lake came into existence. Also lot of people died in those floods & those who survived migrated to other nearby towns or villages and some saw this as an opportunity & opened resorts or other businesses.
The reason why Lexus is so expensive, actually Hunzai people do not sell their land outside the community. So, the Lexus owner (outsider) might have paid at least 7-8 greater than its actual land price to lure the land owner.
That's amazing welcome to my village I hope if I was there I would love to give you a room in my resort with a view to attabad lake 😅 I hope you enjoyed and thanks for showing our beautiful attabad lake
Man that bridge was crowded and the fact only locals were allow to go across is totally different from a bunch of videos I've seen there granted they were over a year old. lol
Attabad lake water is the most blue color ever I had seen and surprisingly this lake is example of opportunity out of natural disaster. Loved it there luxurious resorts are to stay and attract good potential of tourism.
Northern people are the most honest and loyal people in whole Pakistan. They wont even take an extra penny or try to sell you something just to make extra money
Looking at your excitement, being a Pakistani, I will surely visit these areas now :D, this is beautiful, just imagining the promise our creator has made after life we will be in the most beautiful places called heaven/Jannah, ameen! Have a smooth and safe travel Chris!
The cap is not famous from taliban, These are culture thing and Paktoon and Pathan tribes wear these before when Taliban was not exist, and most of the talibans are Paktoon and Pathan tribes.
Well this is the 1st ever vlog that I have seen a full video & I m really enjoying it. I feel like I m travelling with you 👍 Well thanks to visit Pakistan ❤.
Great video Chris! Attabad lake is truly stunning. The boys on the motorbikes were asking you how you got to to the lake not how you'll get to Gulmit. To address a few other points, tourists aren't allowed to go across that particular bridge because os safety concerns. Furthermore the shop owner should not have spoken about negative marketing. This beautiful hat has been worn for many many years and it's sad that it's now being equated to and is being sold as a symbol of the Taliban.
Man, I really wish I was there on my bike and give you unlimited lift experience, and really enjoy the ride till the Khunjerab Pass! But, cool vlog mate, I enjoyed it!

$200/night is very awesome deal, Marriot in the city will cost around $200. Jet skies and new constructions are really eye sore, which kills the beauty of this pristine scenery. Hopefully someone would take a notice of this destruction.
well your marketing things is very true in Pakistan, one of the biggest example of that happens in Murree near Islamabad they over develop it so much that it lost all it's beauty that place now look like a big city like Lahore, because it's near capital so it receiver a ton of tourists, they develop so much that you don't feel you are on a mountain any more and the same feeling like a big city. that's why that destination is not on my list anymore if i ever wish to go somewhere for outings, i mean what's the point that you travel so much to have the same vibes of the city i live in anyways poor people who only increase population and stuck in cycle of survival for generations

Squat toilets are the Best.
They not just flush out the stomach well but also give strong and flexible legs. A week’s practice will get you going. LOL

The younger shop keeper almost ruined it with exaggerated negative marketing . Its wise to be quiet instead of talking rubbish .

Stunned to see how can a disaster make an incredible marvel like Attabad lake.

Have you edited the color of the water? Is it really this blue in real life? I'm a Pakistani btw.
