- The destroy all humans 2 remake is the perfect remake. This remake is so good it puts the last of us part 1 remake to shame.
So right off the bat, if you were wondering if destroy all humans 2 reprobed is good the answer is a resounding absolutely. The character design is fantastic, the gameplay is more fun than ever and story and humor are a thousand times better than the Saints Row Reboot.
In fact, in this destroy all humans 2 review I will relentlessly continue comparing this remake to the new saints row game because of how awful that was and how amazing this is.
But anyways, enjoy this destroy all humans 2 reprobed gameplay and review, that once again proves that we have all the tools to make the best games it just takes the right developer that cares enough to do it.

Well, here's hoping they keep their spines, because they've already announced Destroy All Humans 3 will be a new game, no more remakes (so the other two games of the original four, Big Willy Unleashed and Path of the Furon, are officially de-canonized). But if they do turn tail and try to avoid offending modern "sensibilities" going forward, then just like Saints Row, they'll lose the series' identity in the process.
@@freedantheeternal did you even play this game? They already cut out a lot of stuff despite the disclaimer. Including a whole side mission where Crpyto ruins a Trans character, and even redid the ending where Natalya is a strong woman, no longer a useless sex object.
That sucks. I really liked crypto getting the girl at the end.

Feel like saints row could’ve taken this route instead of a reboot, just a full bottom up remaster of the first 2 games that could lead to them taking the series in a different direction after that if they wanted to.
Can you imagine a full remake of SR 1 and 2 on UE 4 or 5, with actual, official mod tools?! Forget the price tag, I'd pay 80$ a pop for it.

Volition's new staff are woke. They never would have remastered the old game and left the dialogue and characters as they were. They wanted to reboot, to erase history.

@CW they changed up the ending so Natalya has powers, just as powerful as the main character, instead of being some dummy clone that Crypto uses as a sex object. Equality! Plus, they removed several racially tinged thoughts from the mind scanning feature. And they outright removed an entire side mission in London where Crpyto helps a man change his gender to woman, only for the man to get mocked, insulted, called names, and even divorced because of it.

I didn’t play the first game but you have single handedly convinced me to get this game. It looks like the perfect antidote to all the “modernity” in games now. A throwback to when games could be funny, sexy, and have actual gameplay. Headed over to steam rn.
They also did the first game and it's pretty solid of a remaster as well.

Sadly, they did censor it just like they did the first remake. They removed a bunch of cortex scans, a mission, and changed the context of the ending. Really bummed they ruined this one too.

These developers are G's, they know that PLOT and humor with good combat means big wins.
That the good ending is being able to FUCK again as a species. Where cloning is NOT morally dubious, rather funny and honestly the best way to explain a respawn mechanic.
Destroy All Humans has always been my most favorite Series growing up. It’s almost a freaking miracle this came out at all.
I know they may very well make a true sequel really soon, but I worry the humor will be dumbed down if it’s an original story.
Some companies know when to quit when they’re ahead. I think they know they can’t do what they did today, maybe remake path of the furon with any hope.

They didnt even bend over to wokeness, but removed some minor dialogues to suit the new scenes.
Like "You shoot like a girl, Vladimir!" to make only Armquist punching him instead of Crypto missing the shot.

Having a major blast with this. Actually took me a bit to to do an objective where you had to get a target hippie killed by a cop, I figured out that, if you bodysnatch and let them shoot you, that will kill the "suit" you snatched. Love this game, magnificent! Love how it makes you engage your creative muscle!
I missed old games like these.
4:05 he's right, the bugs can be fixed.
I played the demo just before it got pulled from steam (for reasons that are still unknown to me) and let me tell you that the bugs there were MUCH worse:
- NPCs stopped spawning entirely leaving the map deserted at best or soft locking missions at worst
- cars driving off the road and clipping through parts of the map, sometimes during CUTSCENES. (you have no idea how jarring it was to be talking to the freak in an alleyway and see a random military truck pull up right behind him out of nowhere and then phase through a building immediately afterwards)
- the ragdoll physics going completely haywire, I'm talking enemies getting stuck in buildings or the ground after you throw them
- fire particles not spawning on buildings if several others are already burning.
I could go on, but the point is between the demo and the release, all of these bugs have (for the most part) been patched and resolved allowing for a much better experience. Have faith in the devs, they'll get all the kinks worked out in time.
Im glad i subbed to this channel, i can't stand reviews from those "gaming" journalists, I honestly couldn't find a decent reviewer who hasn't bowed down to the woke community until you came up. Hope to see more great content from you.

Huh and this game makes fun of you people and your anti woke culture war. It removed a ton of anti woke stuff. Totally changed the ending too for female empowerment and cut out a whole side mission and an entire NPC's voice lines.

Someone cried that THQ left the chat. So THQ Nordic came in and saved what was left behind. I won't lie, it may be a company that makes at best AA games now, they can have all my money with the quality they're putting out.

The only kind of cryptocurrency joke I'd allow would be some "unfortunate word choices", something like someoen asking Crypto for his currency. Keep it hidden. It's the difference between a proper innuendo and just yelling out "BLOWJOBS".

Everyone that worked on this game deserves a raise. I played all of the DAH games back in the day and they perfected DAH2. I played the 1st remake which was great but the 2nd game was always far superior. Idk if this was a thing or not in the old games but having the difficulty settings in the 2nd remake made it far better than the 1st as the 1st was just far too easy. This remake of DAH2 is just incredible. The combat feels so insanely fun and the game looks absolutely stunning. Each location has so much charm to it and all feel so lively. I could also no lie spend hours just running around destroying humans because it really is that satisfying. The humor and lack of censorship was also very refreshing. Im so happy they stayed true to the original game. These developers did an amazing thing here with this remake and cheers to them. This is the most fun I've had playing a game in years. I would love for them to remake Path Of The Furon as well and hey Big Willy Unleashed would be cool too.

I think either way they kept in the line for re-entry so I inferred they fucked. Plus we got Bikini Nat so I mean creative liberty it was well done.

Destroy all Humans 2 was my game of the year. It was like being back at the golden era of PS2 games.
I'm too old for 'consoles', yet there have been several games exclusive to them I did acquire. When Steam released the the remastered version I played it for awhile, but never finished it. Your presentation of the sequel has convinced me to give it a look as all things being equal - it's just more which is good, but looks better.

Back in the day, if you preordered "Destroy All Humans" on PS2, you got a DVD copy of "Plan 9 From Outer Space". It's one of the worst sci-fi movies ever made and totally fits the vibe of DAH. I somehow lost my copy of the game but I still have that damn movie.
yep you're totally right BUT you forgot to say some things that this remake do (unless you didn't play the original)
-added new things collectibles,mechanics,power up,skins,enemies(like the robot from DAH1 and miniguns guy) ecc...
- improved the boss fights Gojira has new attacks, the english and the Hippy guy received a totally remake
- changed the cutscenes ....also censoring unfortunately(also from what i read they censored totally a secondary mission) for example the final cutscene it's totally different since in the original Krypto with "i made some improvements" he mean that he made Natasha clone a Bimbo in the remake he gave her the powers... but then again they also improved the ending so great

Only issue I came across in the game is the mission freaky flyers in Albion keeps glitching out I've done 2 run throughs just to see if I could do it and it just doesn't work. It stopped working both times cuz it crashed the second I started the mission then after that it doesn't start the cutscene or anything 😔 other then that pure genuine nostalgia rush

The second I saw it was on PS + I downloaded it and spend the whole day playing this game. I had the old one on ps2 as a kid and loved it! It was one of the only games I would Replay over and over again

It amazes me how night and day a week between launches get you one of the worst reboots of all time devoid of humor, then now we get the best remake of all time with fantastic bo---quality writing and humor. I wish humor was more fluid then most people now days and we all can enjoy simple slapstick humor once again.
Just 100%ed it last night and what a joy it was. I hope they continue with Path of the furon or even just a brand new game which would be a task but something I would love to see.

WOW does this game really have jiggle physics too? 3:47 Anyway I bought my copy from Best Buy to support more of these types of games that don't feel the need to change for "modern audiences" or modern times. It came with a $10 gift card as a promo bonus, so why not. It took a while to ship it; I got a feeling they sold out a bunch, which is good news.

IGN- "Some of the jokes feel a bit out of place and dated for 2022." In other words, they are funny. And that statement makes no sense to me, the game takes place in the 1960s, and a lot of the jokes make sense in that context.

I'm going to buy this eventually. I got the Spyro trilogy remaster and it truly took me back in time to happier times, and at a very reasonable price. It's almost like they should, I dunno, PAY ATTENTION TO THE FANS and remaster all the old gems for $40. They have a fortune sitting right at their fingertips and they won't even touch it.
