@designing4deen He must have taken the "you must be new to the sport" as an insult, otherwise I see no reason to feel offended for getting an insight into something you follow for 4 straight years.
Bro how have you not seen Engin's matches from a few years ago? The guy has pins on the likes of Artur Makarov, those monsters would absolutely obliterate anyone at Coach Ray's level
What was it ...round 4? You literally see ray hit a wall. Great pulling of both of em. Thanks Matt! We don't want to see 7000 minutes of strap application
If you slow mo they are all pins and you can see the cushion deform every time ray touches and that's where engin lets go, amazing, luckily the refs always had the video to slow down and confirm the calls! God Engin is back

@@outermarker5801agreed, he could have smashed him harder but I would rather see a few mm deeper pin. Takes the question out. Engin is one of the greatest of all time so it’s really a ref point.
apart from seemingly false start, or better said early movement from Engin, the pins are actually super accurate just the way he used to do it in his prime. Maybe not so clear to our eyes but the pins are there. It's amazing to see Engin hasnt lost the explosiveness and accuracy of flash pin.
@@a.h.5966 Idd, don't think it would have mattered but there did seem to be some early movement on the 'ready' before the actual go. They really need to either get rid of the ready go system and just have 'go' or enforce false starts more strictly when people already are hitting on the ready.
Everyone keeps talking about his age but he is the same age as Todd and Davon. In that match he was in his 40s. Just because you look old and unhealthy doesn't mean you are old.
This match made coach ray realise he'll never be world class competitor and his career is in his youtube channel/commentary/presenting - but he's still better than bowen😂
@@mercedesw211classic Him and Allen never faced in competition. Just for practise pull but Engin doesnt say the result out of respect so you guess what happened. No reason for this mismatch, but at least Engin should have been forced to actually finish his pins to the pad. "Palm up" is not the definition of a pin. Plenty of guys go palm up an inch or two from the pad, hold a defensive position and then come back. Thumbs down on phantom pins.

This video tells you how much the technique matters than strength. Pure show of experience and mental strength by Engin
Engin had a much stronger hand, that had nothing to do with technique and everything to do with Engin's hand control being way superior to ray.
Engin is simply stronger
