I enjoyed your first video and so I subscribed. I like your variety of content. I would recommend you work on only one Dimension kit at a time. Doesn’t look like parking is something you enjoy. I would love to see some of your knitting and crochet. A number of FlossTubers show theirs. Good luck with your channel and I can’t wait to see your next UA-cam and stitching progress. 😊
I start my threads different ways depending on if it is fancy floss or dmc. DMC when I use 2 strands I loop start, fancy floss just lengths of 2 strands together and run it under a few stitches to anchor. Woodland Babies is adorable! LOVE the Wisteria Fairy she turned out beautiful! Those gnome houses are so much cuter stitched up! Happy stitching - Laura
Yes fancy floss is so high maintenance. Lol! You can't loop start, you can't stitch all the left legs and then all the right legs. Sigh. It's (usually) worth the extra effort though. 😂
Your Wisteria Pixie is gorgeous!!! I will start that soon. You did a super job. Also really impressed with your full coverage progress!! That is going to be beautiful too. You must be a stitching whis!!! Reall amazed how much you get done with three kids. I have three grown kids with almost grown up kids too. Looking forward to your following videos. You are a calm influence which l enjoy. Happy stitching!!!
❤❤❤ I like to use the loop start, and I just lick the ends to thread it 😅 great progress 😊 You pixie looks lovely, and yes! Beading can look very intimidating but it’s not difficult at all at the end of the day
The only part about the beading that was an issue was in the spots where there were TONS of beads and I had to make sure they all stayed in place and laid nicely with their neighbors. Otherwise I didn't even mind that it goes slower than regular stitching.
I thread my needle with the cut edges. I love those Woodland Babies. I would of thrown my WIP down too to start that one. The turtle is my favorite & also the baby duck. I love your full coverage of the Prairie Wind the colors are awesome. I buy from Everything Cross Stitch and I just bought Morning Lake Dimensions Gold Collection Petites & Ice Cardinal Dimensions Kit. The Cardinal one is on Black Aida which is not my favorite but I can not wait to start it because of the iced branches. I should start this one because we are -29 below zero with the wind chill and this kit would be perfect. I feel sorry for my dog and her paws. Be safe.
I have been so careful with my poor dog too! When his paws get cold he just freezes where he is and we have to go get him and help him back in. Warmer weather is on the way though! I’m going to check out those dimensions kits. I have The Finery of Nature which is on black Aida and I haven’t worked much on it but it wasn’t too hard to see.
So glad to see you back. Congrats on the finishes! I love that you take chances and change up some of the pattern colors. I've only just started to do that. Great selection of "stash enhancements." :) Steph
Thank you! I’m still nervous about changing up the color of the fabric to something very different than the model, but tweaking the threads doesn’t seem so scary. 😊
And I'm the opposite. I've changed probably 95% of all my called for fabric. It's the threads that give me agitate. Oh and threading a needle, if I can I'll use a loop, but I go thru the eye with both threads.
Love your channel and all your work❤. On a side note, the sweater you are wearing is beautiful. Did you knit it? I’m a knitter as well as a cross stitcher. I you have a pattern, would you be able to share. Thanks so much for sharing your work.
I did knit it! It’s Snowy Forest by Midori Hirose. It was in Laine magazine but is also available individually now I believe. It was a quick knit with an airy blown yarn. I used Berroco Mochi. ❤️
Also, that vintage dimensions u found and started is super adorable!!! Can't wait to see ur progress!!!🪡❤

Yay for the monthly quakers! I’m glad you liked how I did it and hope you love them too!❤
Thanks for the inspiration!! 🥰

Your Nora Corbett fairy is gorgeous!
I use the loop method when using 2 threads. I also knit and crochet plus other crafts. I’ve been doing xstitch for over 40 years!

Thank you so much! I feel like the only calm one in my house full of noisy boys. My quiet hobbies are my attempt at balancing that out. 😊
I love seeing all your projects! I need to do those fairy houses. So cute!
Aren't they adorable? I finished the second one and wanted to just keep going but other things dragged my attention away. 😁
Love the fall birth sampler!
Thanks, I think it turned out very sweet. 🥰

Oh nice! Did you just start the monthly quakers this month? Happy stitching to you too!
@@jensfiberweb Yes, I started on January 1st but I started with the “February Quaker” to be able to display it in the upcoming month 😍
Enjoyed! ❤
Woodland Babies would make a cute birth announcement for one of your kiddos.😊
It would! It’s so sweet 🥹
