Today I go through 5 books that have inspired me to go on this sustainability and zero waste journey and also 5 books that I plan to read in 2020. All these books have this sustainability theme as well as zero waste books themes. I think they are the best books to read in you want to learn about your carbon footprint and they are also fun.
All the books I suggest and mention are linked below. Zero waste lifestyle journey is tough to begin, so hopefully, these books help you answer some of the "why" and "how" questions.

What are you reading right now???
I like reading...I read quite a lot. Stopped watching Television years ago! Thank God. Perhaps I will read the two Kline books you suggested. I've read many self help books over the years though the best book and the one that has changed my life for the better is the Holy Bible. Jesus Christ was keen on sustainability too he said Get for yourself purses that don't wear out. Luke 12:33 Have you read the Holy Bible?
@@Valouray Yes, I have, but for scholastic purposes only.
Thank you for including my book in your video and recommendations! I'm honored. :)
fantastic book!!!!
I didn't know you could buy used books on Amazon 🤯🤯
Great video, I'll definitely check these books out.
mind blown when i found out too!
Great recommendations! Recently Madeleine Olivia published a book on zero waste living and sustainable living, and Naomi Klein's newest book This Changes Everything was certainly up there for me. I will look out for these! Thanks for such a lovely video
I am glad you liked it! I am currently reading This Changes Everything. Of course, I live Maddie but haven’t felt the need to get book. Have you read it? Is it good? It looks gorgeous!
The Give a SH** book is a great book and will make you laugh but it will also make you cry. Just a warning.
for sure!
Thank you SO much!
currently reading Zero Waste Home. So far it is really good.
Yeah, enlightening!
I am also VERY interested in sustainable fabrics; I live in cotton country, but I truly need to replace my entire wardrobe (I recently lost about 90 lbs, and I have literally 3 shirts I'm wearing to work on rotation), and I want to start RIGHT this time, with thrifting mostly. So any help you could give would be deeply appreciated.
Thank you for this feedback! I hope to learn so much from the book. Right now I know that organic cotton is better than regular cotton, and that Lyocell is good. That’s all! But i will do research.
Just found your channel few days back and subscribed 😀 I want to start reading more, so this video was super useful to me! Thank you!
Btw, I am passionate about sustainability too, and I make videos related to it on my channel. Would really appreciate it if you have a look 😄
Oh this is su per :) I will DEFINITELY check you out! Have you read other interesting books that I should look into as well?
@@CoolSustainable Thank you 😀 Sadly, I don't have any book recommendations now. Been a very long time since I read anything!
then you definitely have some recommendations now :)
