Would like to hear more about the actual Father, not just God in a general sense like is talked about here. The creed states, We believe in one God, the Father. Why did the church fathers state it that way? Because the Father is the un-begotten, the source of the Son & Spirit, the font from which the Trinity springs eternally. This is seemingly missing in action in Catholic theology & Christianity in general but it helped me greatly in understanding the idea of one God (the Father) and how the trinity can still be understood as one God since He is the source. It's not the trinity as the source of the Father, it's the Father IS the source of the trinity.
Muslim believe that God is limited. They say that God cannot enter his creation and that he is limited in his movement between his throne and the second heaven. And they also believe that God is not personal, the furthest they can go in their relationship with God is a Slave and Master relationship.
And baptise them in the name of the father son holy spirit. The word name in singular indicating ONE GOD then three persons Father Son Holy Spirit. Monotheistic God does not limit to One Person. Even the Jews admit the plurality of the monotheistic God. In old testament there is YHWH. The Angel of YHWH who is not wing creature and also Creates. And the Spirit of God.. Plurality of Persons One God.
