I’m the Customer. Rory and his team were awesome. I hope I never need them again but if I do they are my first call. Wearing our T-Shirts with pride. Thanks @trailmater.
Perfect. Just poured my coffee and now it’s time to sit back and watch the crew do their thing. And please remember to like it if you watch it. It’s the least we could do for Rory and crew.
Funniest thing about Rory’s Thor joke was Shawn being slow to react. 😉 Customer should be charged double since he evidently knew the lugs were loose and didn’t do anything about it before going up Hell’s revenge AND he kept getting under or too close to the Jeep while Rory was working on it! On the positive side, two unexpected jokes in one video! 💕😂👍
I just won’t thank you 4 guys, and all your crew’s. Without a doubt These are the best four channels on the Internet. They entertain and encourage, and they teach. These are my favorites in no particular order. Trail Mater, Robby Layton and the boss, Fab Rat, Matt’s Off Road Recovery.
I’ve said it many times … but one more won’t hurt … I love those trail fixes, Rory. They never get old. This has to be the very best You Tube channel! The scenery, the camaraderie of you three guys, the trail fixes, the driving … everything …. It all clicks into one enjoyable whole. Don’t change a thing!
Where else can I get Entertainment, comedy and adventure all on one channel - no place but here. Love the channel and all 3 of you guys. Thanks for taking me along.
I just bought a '58 CJ5. While trying to remove the wheels, I broke off every lug on the left front. As I'm breaking them off one by one, I'm thinking the whole time what in the world is going on. (Those were not my exact thoughts) I didn't know about the left hand thread on these until I was researching new lugs. Lesson learned. 🤣
Is there any truth in the rumour that Trail Mater does not carry a jack because Rory can pick the wretched vehicles up with his bare hands? You may not use pure engineering techniques, but you certainly get the job done. Well done team.
You'd think a company like Yankum-Ropes would gladly provide Rory with all his straps, shackles and whatever, instead they give product to people who might use them once, and never on camera,🤭, or even the Matt-strapes, if I were Matt I'd tell Rory that I'll keep you in free straps, as long as you mention the product when strapping something down, that way everyone wins,😁👍, awesome video guys, and thanks for sharing.
Great work. Funny how stuff can be working just fine and then wham! Scrambler makes all the way out there, back to the shop and all the way back out again and bam!! I'm not gonna work anymore. That crap happens to me as well, lol. Rory, your "Dad" humor was on point today 🤣🤣 Keep up the awesome content, much appreciated
Rory we really appreciate you sharing, you guys are a blast, I understand you have pressure on your business and you tube,we love ya all ,and worry about you
Rory.... Its amazing to me that your rigs are so trouble free.... the forces of torque, weight and outright hammering are horrific, and yet.... You go on rescue after rescue and never break down.... You have combined the perfect drive train to the job required.... AWESOME RECOVERIES....
That's because for the past several decades, Rory has watched what individual components last forever and which break every year, both on his own vehicles and everyone else's around him. He has now, finally, assembled the Trail Mater out of the (add Flight of the Valkyries here) Everlasting Components (end music). Well, at least he had until you jinxed it. (add middle finger of shame here)
Don’t get me wrong ‘trailmater featuring Rory n crew’ is the money maker but the freekin mike and sean show cracks me up every time!! Having a job you can have fun doing is where it’s at💥
How about, "We re-lugged and sent them on their way." -or- "Team Trail Mater, We're 'Luggable'.❤" I enjoyed this one. Once again, Blue-goo to the rescue.Of course having a highly skilled team to make the repair is essential.
Sitting down with a coffee and jelly donut, to watch the latest Shawn and Mike show with special appearance from Rory. 🤣 Darn, that was a bit iffy lying and sitting under the rear wheel arch Rory, whilst it hangs by a thread. You call it shenanigans. We'd call it bodging. But both work 😃 Thanks for another great vid.
Great video .. Would like to see a video on the most common jeep parts that fail on the trail maybe a spiced together one of trail fixes of the most common. Steering shaft , brake lines , lug nuts , driveshaft or universal joints. Just the most common that you get calls for . Would be great for us to address those concerns on our own Jeeps so we don’t get stranded. Thanks.
I stopped by Rory's shop today. Met Rory and Mike. While they don't know me from Adam, it was nice and I want to thank them. They do good work and I do live a little vicariously through their adventures.
Sorry I didn't meet you, Shawn (maybe you spell your's differently). I had my Jeep, that I thought had wheels chocked, roll off the ramp and the pumpkin was coming at my head. It did stop. The neighbor lady was a little freaked and called the fire department.
Recovery expert, motor mechanic and motorsports builder,,,,,,,,broken down. Always the way, customers first and never get around to doing your own work
Hey Rory & ""The Shawn & Mike Show "" !!! Great going as I bet those Taps & Chasers will stay on "" Mater"" !!! HAHA 🤔🙄 ""COOL BEANS "" to have the Customer stay away from the machine while you were working on it as DON'T need an injury too boot !! 🙂🙃😉👀👀👍👍👍👍👍
Rory just a thought... If you carry a triangular file with you, you can cut a linear slot in a bolt and thread that into the bolt hole & use it as a thread chaser without having to carry a whole set of taps around with you or having to run back to the shop.😊
That can be a great solution - and I suspect Rory had just thought of that when he was lamenting that they didn't have a spare stud to sacrifice in that manner. After all, cutting a gullet in a bolt and using it as a thread chaser like that will severely chowder the bolt's remaining threads, especially if it's trying to cut/chase threads through something hard. That's not mild steel he's trying to tap through. 👍
Nothing beats enjoying a nice cup of coffee while watching The Mike & Shawn Show featuring Rory
Their guest star was a bit of a comedian today. 😁
I have a killer tooth ache I’ll try to watch
I always like before watching because I know it’s always good! 👍👍👍
@@BobbieJeanM I also do this so if I can’t sleep and I’m going through old videos I know I haven’t watched it if I don’t show a like.
If I were that customer I’d check the other three wheels when I got off the trail.
Sean's delayed laugh at Rory's hand being Thor lmao. Great episode guys
And Rory's take on Tom Tom as well...
My Dad always called them hand grenade jokes - just toss it out and wait three seconds for the reaction.
That's what you call an Indian joke.... it sneaks up on you.
Pun intended, so back off😂
Funniest thing about Rory’s Thor joke was Shawn being slow to react. 😉 Customer should be charged double since he evidently knew the lugs were loose and didn’t do anything about it before going up Hell’s revenge AND he kept getting under or too close to the Jeep while Rory was working on it! And the longer he stayed in the way , the higher it goes ( found on the form ID-10-T )
That cust lik the others are getting a freebie most likely
10:40 "cuz now my hand is thor" 😂🤣 oh man that had me cracking up! That plus Shawn's delayed reaction was a double whammy! 😂
It's cool to see someone still uses hand signals to turn.
Does TM even have blinkers?
I had a tour guide tell me the difference between a tourist and a hitch hiker was 5 minutes.
Every time I watch your video,s just make,s me love my 1978 k20 more , best truck EVER 👍👍👍😎🇦🇺
Shawn's like.. "we don't need no steenkin hubs locked in" 😂🤘🏼🇺🇲
Good job.., dealing with the customer repeatedly trying to climb under it while it was jacked up. 😅
The Trail Mater team is so awesome doing these trail repairs and getting the customers back on the road. Great team and awesome video!
So Mike is Tom-Tom of the group ? Tom-Tom is pretty ingenious but the real brains of MORR is Peanut. She runs a tight ship over there ---- ( humor ).
Yes😂😂😂
10:41 ... "Cuz now my hand is Thor" 😂🤣😂 Bahahaha!!!
You can't park here, as if Shawn had a choice. Thor hand is the perfect Dad joke. Nice work. Thanks for sharing.
Shawn being scared that lady was going to beat him up 🤣🤣🤣
The ABS sensor was touched inapprpriatly. Hahahaha
Diggit

You are right but you can't forget Merlin, his channel is getting better every week!
Chad's Fabs is getting up there❤❤❤❤
The intro was cool as heck. Fits perfectly.
Vehicle wiring tip: Keep a box of dirt in the back for ground.
If I were there I would have to wrassle Shawn for those really cool shades!
Another win with no crappy music, what more could a guy ask for.
Every time I see Trailmater's rear fenders, I get a craving for fresh cookies.
I’ve said it many times … but one more won’t hurt … I love those trail fixes, Rory. They never get old. This has to be the very best You Tube channel! Here we are ❤️🔥🏜️🛺
16:57 "Well I guess the people that were standing here before found a ride" OR they jumped😀
A trail fix and a floor show... Just another day with the crew at Moab Motorspo... uhh TrailMater Off Road Recovery.
Where else can I get Entertainment, comedy and adventure all on one channel - no place but here. Love the channel and all 3 of you guys. Thanks for taking me along.
Good call Rory letting the customer know to stay out from under the Jeep.
The Wellhead is…. WELL PROTECTED😂😂😂
I like the editor commentary.

I felt this.

You may not use pure engineering techniques, but you certainly get the job done. Well done team.
A recovery video and a comedy show. What more could we ask for. You guys are the best. Thank you.
Good old Hell's Revenge... keeps food on the table for those involved in recovery !!
Rory's knowledge and ability are amazing. What a super guy!
Hope you checked his lug torque on the other three wheels 😅
Looking at the carnage I hope the customer treats that repair as temporary… and gets some new parts ASAP. 🤷♂️
Awesome fun video today Rory , Mike and Shawn ( can’t forget TrailMater
Rory a stand up guy doing stand up….. Always good to have a backup plan. 😂 “Well” you got that covered.
How can you not love Shawn and Mike.
“Battery may be dead I think it’s terminal.” Wasn’t expecting that, almost spit my coffee out. ROTFLMAO!!! 🤣😂🤣 You guys crack me up!!!
I really enjoy the Mike and Shawn show. The best part is the shots they take while traveling.
now thats "natural engineering" , letting jeep roll back to rock for jack stand. loved the puns.🤣
I spit my coffee out when Rory said "The battery might be dead, I think it's terminal" LOL
Rory we really appreciate you sharing, you guys are a blast, I understand you have pressure on your business and you tube,we love ya all ,and worry about you
The dad jokes were on fire today! You guys rock!
Rory.... Its amazing to me that your rigs are so trouble free.... the forces of torque, weight and outright hammering are horrific, and yet.... You go on rescue after rescue and never break down.... You have combined the perfect drive train to the job required.... AWESOME RECOVERIES....
Uh huh huh huh… he said, “never break down”…
Great , NOW ya jinxed everything 🤦🤣
Change your handle to Murphys law ,
HAHAHA 😂
Yeah, but when they’re not running rescue, they’re running maintenance! Every hour rescue probably takes two hours of maintenance
That's because for the past several decades, Rory has watched what individual components last forever and which break every year, both on his own vehicles and everyone else's around him.

Awesome trail fix- and stand up comedy included! What more could a person ask for?? Lolol! Thanks for taking us along....
I think Mike found a good name for Shawn's buggy, 50 percent.
Gots my coffee , kicking back to catch a new episode of trail mater . Morning everyone ! Those wheel studs decided to make like a nut and bolt
That was so dorky. I cant believe I laughed so hard at that!
Wow what a pleasure it is listening with out all the squeaks pops n ratcheting Mater use to make ☺️congratulations 🎉
I get unstuck when Trail Mater comes on.
How about, "We re-lugged and sent them on their way." -or- "Team Trail Mater, We're 'Luggable'.❤" I enjoyed this one. Once again, Blue-goo to the rescue.Of course having a highly skilled team to make the repair is essential.
The best thing about viewers going for a ride it’s free. Thanks Rory
I would have for sure snapped a tap off with the axle shaft walking around.
- get some rapid tap! It works very well.
Sitting down with a coffee and jelly donut, to watch the latest Shawn and Mike show with special appearance from Rory. 🤣
Darn, that was a bit iffy lying and sitting under the rear wheel arch Rory, whilst it hangs by a thread. You call it shenanigans. We'd call it bodging. But both work 😃
Thanks for another great vid.
I've said this before, all of your rigs sound good.. but that scrambler just takes the cake!!! Good lord she sounds Soo good
Great video .. Would like to see a video on the most common jeep parts that fail on the trail maybe a spiced together one of trail fixes of the most common. Most comedians stand up to do their comedy routine. --- Thanks for the fun upload, gentlemen. ---
These guys are awesomely awesome 😊
Rory and shaune need a TomTom to keep Mikey in order. Cause he'll do anything 😂
" My hands are thor" ha ha ha
"What?! Did you go to college to get stupid?!" Sonny Corleone
The lack of comments from rory said it all. Good job guys.
Oh yeah, I see the passenger side pillar is crunched a little. I always see under the passenger side, but rarely that pillar.
You guys don't just bring us along for the ride but for an adventure!
9:56 Sounded like the guy was about to revile the Mt-biker.
Good hearted real man Rory edited it out.
Thank you for that Rory.
We’re gonna be TRAILMATED!!!!
Rory's on fire today with the puns! LOL Thanks for such great entertainment guys.
Nice work! And the dad jokes are on point this video
I learned something, I thought all wheel studs were press fit. 🤷♂️
Most aftermarket chromoly axleshafts are thread in.
Recovery expert, motor mechanic and motorsports builder,,,,,,,,broken down.
Always the way, customers first and never get around to doing your own work
Rory with 2 BAD Dad jokes in one episode and no Lilli to receive them😂🤣😂
"We're coming, Rory!" Excellent
Amazing how quiet the suspension is since your maintenance a month or so ago! Another quality video. Thanks for sharing!!
I'd like to congratulate Hell's Revenge on winning Employee of the Month - it's responsible for 60% of the shop revenue.
Mike, right there with you man. Rory using that ratchet for chasing and cutting those threads gave me a little anxiety hah Ain't Rory's first rodeo.
That Battery powered wratchet is AWESOME !!
Boy ole Rory can fix anything
Hey Rory & ""The Shawn & Mike Show "" !!! Great going as I bet those Taps & Chasers will stay on "" Mater"" !!! HAHA 🤔🙄 ""COOL BEANS "" to have the Customer stay away from the machine while you were working on it as DON'T need an injury too boot !! 🙂🙃😉👀👀👍👍👍👍👍
That's the deal whomever installed those RCVs didn't loctite those studs.
I love the Mater chassis cam!
16:28 whip out the knife and clean the terminal for a better connection 🔪 love it!!!
I’ll keep watching!❤
I hope you checked the torque on the other 3 tires.
Havin fun and gettin it done. Thanks for the ridealong!
Rory, I’m curious what you think about Gladiators running 37”, 38.5”, and 40” tires on stock axles.
Dang!!! Rory scraping that benchmade up !!! I use the heck out of mine but it always hurts my heart to scrap metal with such a nice knife
Mike that was my thoughts exactly, your the Tom Tom of the crew great video and great job with the recovering God bless from GA
You think the MORR crew was amused by your trash talk of Tom ?
The Mike & Shawn Show featuring Rory
Awesome stuff man! People don’t understand the shit we go threw on a service call. Bad ass. Your the official off road SUPER HERO!!! Lol thanks
Rory----You're a crazy man 😎🍺🍺
Rory cracking Thor jokes was not something I would have ever expected out of a video, but it was pretty funny
Lol loved the ending. There wasn't. They didn't.
Thanks for sharing. Five hacksaw blades bolted or pinched in a vice-grips make a poor man’s file.
Rory just a thought... If you carry a triangular file with you, you can cut a linear slot in a bolt and thread that into the bolt hole & use it as a thread chaser without having to carry a whole set of taps around with you or having to run back to the shop.😊
He carries a cordless angle grinder and cut-off wheels
I came here to say this, but with the grinder and cutoff wheel I know he has on him.
That would work on minor damage, but this was heavy thread cutting.
