The Churchill III is a Soviet tier 5 premium heavy tank.
A British tank supplied to the U.S.S.R. under Lend-Lease. The U.S.S.R. received a total of 301 vehicles, with some lost at sea during transport to Murmansk.
The Churchill is one of the most popular Tier V premium tanks, which boasts a rapid rate of fire, large hit point pool, and good armor that reliably deflects shots from most tanks of its tier and lower. It fares best against light and medium tanks of Tiers V and below that it can puncture to death rapidly -- with a gun rammer, vents, and a good crew the reload can be around 1.9 seconds. A well-known advantage of the Churchill III is that it generates large amounts of experience, which makes the Churchill III a very popular crew trainer.
