Now that the season is over I can give my top three bands as a whole for the 2024 season. This is not just dancers I’m sorry the band is more than just the talented young ladies upfront. 1. JSU Dr. little when you thought it wasn’t going to get better. He shows you the bar can be set higher 2. ASU Dr. Oliver love state but these past two years have shocked me. I don’t know I don’t know what got into those freshman and where they came from but get some more seniors great job as well. 3. Southern I enjoyed seeing kyre upfront I did not enjoy the music from southern at all. I don’t care who arranging and how it’s arranged it was a no for me personally. It was hits there but a lot more misses and for that type of program this cannot happen. It sounds different and that has to be worked out over there. This game though was the perfect example of train up a team this goes for the band and dance members. You can just tell their Muscality is pure; when to throw a sixteen once in order to connect to the music bridge, throwing an eight or sixteen count once before the end of the song, capitalizing on key moments with favorable count selection was top tier so I give all of the freshman their just due. The trumpets though, after round two they smelled fear from the band members to the dance members. I have to add this because it’s important to talk about. That’s a relationship with Jesus Christ if you don’t have one then he’s waiting for you now. It’s not talked about enough. We have to share the word in any space we find joy in and I wanted to leave yall with that. God bless y’all
