Thanks for the video Eric, I'm pulling a Perkins motor out of one and was kinda stuck on separation. Good informative video that's helping out for sure!
Having trouble removing radiator seems like there are 2 studs at the bottom of it holding it down but you said it's just the bracket and pad keeping it in place . Thanks
Sharing knowledge. I love it. Mine had hour meter disconnected and sold as a low hour machine. Not so. It has blow by and the computer is GARBAGE. I currently have bandaid mode but it will need an overhaul and I believe a hydraulic control valve rebuild. I replaced the pump but the voom still will not lift a load of dirt without bumping the foot control.
You should take your hydraulic hoses off and remove the pump. I would have dropped the belly pan down using a car jack lower it down and get it out the way helps with draining coolant. I on iw this because i have a L555 deluxe with the kubota V1902. Had to change the pump shaft and isolator plate. You basically have to tear the while machine down. But in the end youre able to go over and replace everythkng you need to while you have it out.
Hi Chase. On this machine, the hydraulic oil is part of the chain case. It holds about 17 gallons. When you're looking into the cab from the bucket, on the right hand side is the dipstick to check fluid level. If you're changing the fluid, make sure you clean the pickup screen. Under the seat in the cab, there is a service panel (my machine had 2 latches that secured the panel). Remove the panel and on the left hand side behind the panel you will see a tube with a nut on top. The screen is in there.
@@drev5001 man thank you so much ive been trying to find this info for weeks! Theres not much in the web on this machine Thank you for replying!! Do I need to check while running?
@@superchasejames no problem buddy! I try to use these as educational and my end goal is to help anyone I can. As for checking fluid while running, you do not need to. Just make sure You check the fluid when the machine is parked on a level surface. Let me know if you need part numbers as well for the hydraulic filters that are located in the engine Bay behind the cab. There are 2 filters 1 large 1 and a smaller one.
@@drev5001 another question. Thete are two black knobs one on each side of the machine. Inside cockpit. Kinda by the handles, but slightly inside the frame. Any idea what they are
From memory, not difficult at all. It is a big flare nut though. Maybe 1 1/2 or 1 1/4. Keep the cooler bolted down when you are breaking the lines. This will help since these are older machines and they may need a bit more leverage to break free.
Thanks for sharing. Pulling my v1902 now. This video a big help

Nice video! Thinking about buying one of these myself. Thanks for the rough step by step for this job. Invest in a tripod and keep making videos!
Thank you sir! I appreciate the feedback. Let me know if you have any questions with the machine.
I have one of these L555 deluxe machines. I am experiencing hydraulic issues. Currently replacing EVERYTHING.

Could you explain where hydro fill and check is?. Is the hydrologic tank part of the chain cases?

How hard was it to To remove the hydraulic lines on the radiator cooler

Also have a catch pan ready, it will dump a bit of fluid.
2 of us are working on it and we cannot get it to budge it is counter clockwise
@@steveskopik9461 it is normal rotation. I believe I may have used a big adjustable and cheater bar.
what's the trick to remove valve cover?
They can be a bit stuck to the gasket once the nuts are removed that hold it on. A mallet hammer or flathead will help it come off.
