One of the really dumb things is how your character can talk in battles, but can't talk in cutscenes.
It's because the MC in non cannon stories (officials or fan made) have to be retarded, that's the law

That game kinda soured me to this game structure too: walk around a boring hub world, get a mission, redo an anime moment, get a little praise for my OC, grind to unlock attacks you'll only use once or twice before you move on. I got bored with that, and this game looks like it gets boring even quicker.

I love how in Xenoverse it makes your character feel powerful, like when you beat goku, but then this game comes along and basically makes you a damsel in distress

Genos's first meeting with the player character is essentially: "Hey, there. This villain's too tough for me to beat. Could you, a WEAKER, LOWER RANKED hero, buy time for me so I can explode?"

Cause that would ruin the whole point of the series. That being said I don’t see why they can’t make you as strong the monsters and have saitama only come at special occasions. That would of at least made the showdown between the player character and saitama feel special. Heck even genos scores some victory’s in the series and at the very least feel strong.

Honestly a cool twist would be if you're character after powering up was able to finally give boros the true fair fight he craved for. That way the fight against saitama would have some weight to it.

I guess that's the point of the game. That Saitama steps in and end it with one punch. But the game could be little better if they add a little twist if you held your ground and beated a strong boss. Character progression is important

That's because it's the same guy, and he's also the guy who voiced Piccolo in dbz. They used him in the english dub of OPM as a joke because Vaccine Man is obviously supposed to look like Piccolo.

That's probably part of the reason Saitama is so bored, he KNOWS he'll win every fight, he wants to face a challenge where he can finally go all out and not obliterate his enemy without even trying.
I never see such a waste of a charácter Creation mode, literally almost all the first you are just waiting for saitama to beat them, I know is like the anime but literally you are felling no avance of the character or feel in increase in something is just meh wait the time counter and watch the cutescene
while that's true, this is just another anime game, it's made mostly for fanservice purposes, not aimed to be taking awards.
The fighting in game is still decent enough and they even added a version of Saitama that's balanced for PvP, the rest sadly was just not important enough

Not to mention Saitama's fight with Boros should've been much longer like it was in the anime. The game isn't perfect but it's far better than almost every other game based on an anime where pretty much all the characters are on the same level.

In the Anime, Through the entire fight with boros Saitama barely fought back, and even when he did, he was barely trying at all.
I think it would have been better if you *could* kill the bosses but it was extremely difficult. This looks so... scripted.

Bosses in this game is also lame as hell. You hurt them with your avatar character but never got to defeated them. I know is supposed to be like in the real scenario but atleast give an actual boss fight you to fight because saitama is always end killing these bosses
