Best place to learn Spanish - for me. I tried 3 different methods to learn Spanish (paid memberships) and these Pro Spanish courses worked best for me. When I started, I went with Babel, I was so confused after a month I decided to start looking for something better (or fits me better). I tried 2 other Spanish offerings, these were subpar as well. Once I started using "Pro Spanish" I knew this was going to be the best method of learning for me. Everyone is different, I can only tell you what worked for me. In Pro Spanish, the teacher will EXPLAIN why certain things happen as they do in the language, once I understood why certain things happened, I could apply what I learned to different words. Once everything came together I started learning much faster and now I can have short discussions with my Spanish speaking friends. The teacher has a very distinct voice and his pronunciation is excellent. I went through all the free classes and immediately purchased the "paid" classes, the cost is minimal vs the big players and I feel this method of learning is much better than the others.
This is actually incredibly helpful. I love how they used small simple words that are already somewhat similar to english words, and just show you have to connect them in a logical way. Literally showing you how to construct a sentence yourself in 10 minutes. Amazing.

This is very helpful. Many of my colleagues speak Spanish and they are gracious enough to try to teach me phrases. I know this tutorial doesn't prepare you for a trip to Spain but at least it's a foundation to begin learning. :-)

It's so easy to confuse "their" and "there" in English because they sound the same). Consider ‘Their books are over there. They're not over here.’ ("They're = "they are"). When we speak, "their", "there" and "they're" all sound the same.

I’m Japanese who struggled to learn English. I’ve learn to dance tango for a couple of years and started learn Spanish. Looks much easier than English and hope to understand what tango teachers say when I visit Buenos Aires and make friends as well. I’m not gonna give up and keep trying. Perfectamente podría ser peruano pero no hablar castellano de forma materna, en Perú (al menos como tengo entendido) el grupo mayoritario de la población maneja el castellano como lengua materna y común, pero eso no significa que no hayan excepciones, quizás aprendió primero quechua o alguna otra lengua, o quién sabe, hasta el nglés o el japonés pueden ser una posibilidad. Es perfectamente posible que sea peruano, haya vivido toda su vida en Perú, pero que por una u otra razón haya manejado su vida hablando en otro idioma, dejando al castellano solo como una lengua secundaria de poco uso. Y por cierto, yo soy de Chile, acá la mayoría hablamos castellano, que a veces no se nos entienda es solo un problema tuyo, literalmente, y no quiero que te sientas ofendido, es algo muy entendible, si no tienes la costumbre de escuchar el acento Chileno estandar (o alguna variante) es normal que se te haga dificil entendernos, al igual que te podría pasar con cualquier otra variante del castellano como el acento andaluz o el acento dominicano.

lol I learned from my grandpa and grandma, but failed miserably at the Spanish class. lol Todavia estoy aprendiendo el idioma de espanol. Or at a restaurant. Una mesa para dos por favor. Or when you're mad because your car won't start, just say puta madre (I learned this one from my grandpa and his rusty truck from 1950) lmao! I told one of my classmates in Spanish to look at the teacher and say tu esta caliente to the teacher, she not knowingly called him hot, he simply blushed and said thank you. I told her what she said and she was so embarrassed but thought it was funny too. lol I love Spanish, it can make things so much more funny when having a convo, and at the same time be so romantic.
Al Paca I didn't pay much attention to the clock. :P I just got a piece of paper out, copied down every spanish word he said, and the english too, then memorized as much as I could and practiced saying them outloud. Screw the clock. :p
Nice. I had 4 years of Spanish in school, but I need to brush up on it since it's been 20 years ago. I can speak Spanish well enough still since I have a lot of friends who speak speak it and are from the South (i.e., Mexico, El Salvador, Puerto Rico, and Peru). This tutorial is really helping. en realidad les hace falta :v, parece que hablaran un idioma extraño, hasta escribiendo.
Perfectamente podría ser peruano pero no hablar castellano de forma materna, en Perú (al menos como tengo entendido) el grupo mayoritario de la población maneja el castellano como lengua materna y común, pero eso no significa que no hayan excepciones, quizás aprendió primero quechua o alguna otra lengua, o quién sabe, hasta el nglés o el japonés pueden ser una posibilidad. Es perfectamente posible que sea peruano, haya vivido toda su vida en Perú, pero que por una u otra razón haya manejado su vida hablando en otro idioma, dejando al castellano solo como una lengua secundaria de poco uso.
Y por cierto, yo soy de Chile, acá la mayoría hablamos castellano, que a veces no se nos entienda es solo un problema tuyo, literalmente, y no quiero que te sientas ofendido, es algo muy entendible, si no tienes la costumbre de escuchar el acento Chileno estandar (o alguna variante) es normal que se te haga dificil entendernos, al igual que te podría pasar con cualquier otra variante del castellano como el acento andaluz o el acento dominicano.

Roll your R in your mouth instead outside if u know what i mean.. try Arrr n Urrr.. feel the different.. hope its help

If you say “butter” quickly you kind of make the same tongue movement as when you roll your r when you pronounce the tt. Sounds weird but try it.
These are great, whoever made them used repetition to sink it in with it feeling repetitive since there was constant change, movement and progression

lol I learned from my grandpa and grandma, but failed miserably at the Spanish class. lol Todavia estoy aprendiendo el idioma de espanol. Or at a restaurant. Una mesa para dos por favor. Or when you're mad because your car won't start, just say puta madre (I learned this one from my grandpa and his rusty truck from 1950) lmao! I told one of my classmates in Spanish to look at the teacher and say tu esta caliente to the teacher, she not knowingly called him hot, he simply blushed and said thank you. I told her what she said and she was so embarrassed but thought it was funny too. lol I love Spanish, it can make things so much more funny when having a convo, and at the same time be so romantic.

I just got a piece of paper out, copied down every spanish word he said, and the english too, then memorized as much as I could and practiced saying them outloud. Screw the clock. :p
Nice. I had 4 years of Spanish in school, but I need to brush up on it since it's been 20 years ago. I can speak Spanish well enough still since I have a lot of friends who speak speak it and are from the South (i.e., Mexico, El Salvador, Puerto Rico, and Peru). This tutorial is really helping.
