** I am an Aussie Mum of two teenagers (3 if you count my husband) and 2 Golden Retrievers. I have been a vegetarian for 11 years and was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2014. I film a variety of videos, including day in the life vlogs, packing & travel, organising & decluttering and haul videos.
Libby, the more we push ourselves when we can't, the harder it is. The spoon theory! Just go with what your body says and no feeling guilty please. Use your extra push for things you like to do - the dishes can wait xx
+Kerri Vidler Thanks Kerri. I'm pretty good at my spoons I think. Sometimes the dishes don't get done to the end of the day - when I often feel better :-).
Libby Withnall I think you are a great ambassador for the way you balance those spoons and have a life too. I'm so glad for this vlog as it's real life and people need this who are going through chronic pain issues - well done 😊

What an exciting trip for your 25th wedding anniversary
Congratulations Athena on loosing so much weight, you are doing great. Your 25th wedding trip sounds amazing, we went to Scotland for ours and it was so nice to go away and celebrate. When my sister went to Vegas she took a helicopter ride to the Grand Canyon and had lunch there and flew back. She did the afternoon trip so they could see the lights of Vegas at night.
+laura lee oh is love to be going back to Scotland 😀. My parents are in their way to Europe and Scotland as I type and I have to admit I'm pretty jealous 😀. That sounds like a great trip out you the grand canyon.
Love how real your videos are. I came across your channel recently searching for Aussie Disney world vlogs. I can't relate personally but can sympathise with you as my mum suffers from rheumatoid arthritis and she suffers daily from joint paint and she too gets really down if she has to spend the day in bed just so she can function like normal and go to work etc. it certainly makes it difficult when you have a illness/disease that's makes you look fine on the outside but on the inside it's a whole different story. Looking forward to seeing your next travel vlogs. 😊

How exciting about your holiday, sounds fantastic, we'll be married 20 years in November and want to do something for it as well. My son has ASD, so wishing you all the best for Athena's diagnosis. In Las Vegas we stayed in The Paris Hotel which was lovely. I would highly recommend the Eiffel Tower restaurant. Ask for a window table and you get to watch the Bellagio fountains while you eat. Also, let them know it is your anniversary. If Cirque de Solei (sp?) still has "O" running I would also recommend that show. It is in a purpose built setup and is a water show which is magnificent. I hope you are feeling better soon. *hugs*

+Debbie Blincoe Hi Debbie. KEvin & I are rather excited. It's been a trying few years and now that things are settling down it will be lovely spending more time together. Hope you manage to work out the WLS - it really is such a wonderful tool. The world of Aspergers is very new to us - Athena's signs of it only really having developed since getting fibro. They are seeing a specialist in female autism next week to see about a diagnosis.
Tell them if they need anything i am just a msg away! That goes for all of you!

Kauai has the most stunning nature. just do a google image search for kauai and you'll see. I met a very young and a very old couple on a campground there a few month ago. both couples had travelled all the 4 major islands, kauai being the last, and everyone agreed kauai is the most beautiful. but your decision could also be based on the weather of that time of year and the activities you wanna do. I'm sure there is no wrong choice, every island is great.

+Karen Pelkey Hi Karen. I'm doing ok (which is pretty good these days :-)). Yes, Athena is looking at getting a diagnosis. The fibro seems to have triggered everything off. We had no idea but obviously we can now see some signs looking back.

I don't know how you do all you do with your fibro maybe your medicine helps you where as I don't take any for mine have you ever had problems with your lungs hurting from it or do you ever feel like your not getting enough oxygen thanks for sharing I wish I could find a doctor that knows more about fibro then my does
Didn't you say you wouldn't return to the US while Trump was in power?
