Im a newcomer, but I read the manga before I watched the anime. And now Im watching all of the music videos made by Jin, and I must say...The music videos make u feel closer to the characters more than the manga and anime have done so far.
FireLed TheAwsome I guess the songs in itself focus on the characters' persona and their mental state in a way, like their reaction towards the situations and circumstances. I agree with you there about how the songs makes one feel closer to the characters than the other adaptations.
I just hope that they'll get Ayano right...

I didn't notice before that the test paper that Shintaro tore was on the rooftop when he went there and that it's what he was looking at when he cried. xD
Hana DaZe I think that the parts where Ayano doesn't have her scarf were the times before they adopted the trio. Maybe she knew Shintaro even before the trio came to the Tateyama family. I'm not sure about it though. It's just that I don't remember seeing Ayano without her scarf in the other PV's
Pretty sure that the trio were already adopted by now.
Proof:
1.Kano, Seto and Kido were adopted into the Tateyama family when Ayano was still a kid. In this song, Ayano's already in highschool.
2.She is wearing her late mother's hairpin in this video. She only started wearing it after her mother died. By the time her mother died, the trio were already a part of the family for a long time
Thus, we can conclude that the trio were already a part of the family by now

A little story told with music.
It's a song from the Kagerou Project.
I felt the same....
A boy named Shintaro who was naturally gifted in school secluded himself from other people until a girl named Ayano opened up to him. She struggled in class but nonetheless had a heart made of gold.
One day afterschool, he saw Ayano crying to herself in an empty classroom. He didn't know what to do so he left her alone.
Few days passed, and she didn't show up to school. Sure enough, he learns she committed suicide by jumping off the roof of the school.
Later, Shintaro realizes that he couldn't bear the fact that Ayano was really gone, so he dropped out of school and secluded himself from not only people, but from the world (in other words, he became what is known as a NEET in Japan; a person who drops out of school and stays with others for support).
These two are just two characters from the main plot: Kagerou Project. It's an on-going manga 20 chapters in and is already receiving an anime adaptation this April.

If her heat haze is anything like the others, she probably splatters on the ground in the heat haze or at least sees a visual of it. Pretty much confirmed in the new song too
At first, Ayano doesn't have her scarf. But I'm pretty sure they adopted the trio before this...

Yup, happens in the novel. Though Kano said some pretty trashy things to Shintaro.
I forgot who, but someone who worked on Kagerou Project/Mekakucity Actors said that Kano is actually the leader of the group even though everyone says its Kido, since he makes the most decisions.
