I've started marking up the free Arden Vul map pdfs as the AV club explores. It's been a lot of fun to see (some of) the levels turn more and more yellow as the boys go delving. Great session, everyone.
Oh yeah! It's Tuesday so you know what that means. I love every video that 3d6 Down The Line does! Wait, no Mortis J Gobliano tonight? Sacrilege I tell you. Jon might be AI. I mean he is working on magic tricks (sleight of hand) while relaying to his players descriptions of rooms, rolling dice, figuring out combat, controlling the crazy stuff his players want to do/try, and recording/editing for our enjoyment. Jon, since you only dm 3d6DTL one day a week what day are you available for me and my group? We would not mind a magic show at the same time if that were part of the act. I need to get some of that "druid goop". Where is the barbarian from? And are they not believers in magic? I thought Matt was just playing that as his character.
Not bad from Titus using the wand to dispatch the spiders that surely would have ended Wulfheard and the rest of the party if they had gotten to the rope. I cannot believe I was screaming, "Bring Sam, Bring Sam" at the beginning of the episode but was so happy that Elizabeth was there for our favorite grumpy barbarian. Great game Gents! Jon enjoy the North Texas Con and we will see everyone in two weeks!
@@warduke42”well good sir, I would love to partake in your fine CloudCap drink after all I heard from a good friend that is all the rage these days”
"No one can tell what a balm's going to do; they're unpredictable!" Usually I find something to complement Jon about, but today I will just say that the description for the final scene literally made my leg hairs stand up 🤮; consequently, Titus has become my favorite character with his completely rational response.
Great session! Surprised at the lack of recognition for David's Firefly reference at the end though 😅 Spoilers for the session to follow: Matt came super close to finally losing one of his characters and managed to JUST avoid it, talk about lucky! 72 episodes and not a single character death for him-the gods of gaming (or Lysseon) must really like him!
For what it’s worth - having the Barbarian be cured by the Druid makes sense. It feels like it should be the only class they’d fit with. They’d still fear the power they wield, but this would be distinct from the outright antipathy they’d demonstrate to the power of Clerics and Magic Users. I think it was a good call from John - and an excellent use of Lisabeth. Broader gameplay question for John - does the AV Club have the option of establishing their own safe haven at all (given how potentially fickle and expansionistic the Goblins are towards other parties being aligned with them could be a disadvantage after a point)?
Yes, they certainly do, and I’ve encouraged them to do so. Only thing better than one safe haven is two. I believe they are eyeing the Cult of Arden area as a potential “faction-free” space to set up a new haven.
We actually realized later....Lisabeth is a follower of a Thorcin nature goddess. Wulfheard is Throcin -- so her nature-based magics would, indeed, not feel as offensive to him!
Watching 3d6 DTL all alone, in an empty house, but I chuckle a bit any time one of you says, "I have a large sack." On a somewhat unrelated note, I also think farts are funny.
If you like brass monkey youre gonna LOVE gold baboon
I really like that you were able to put Jacobus soul to rest and complete his quest, the only nice undead in the whole of Arden vul so far...

Poor small Brian, full of spiders

Matt, I think you should make a full brewery. Weird mushrooms, fungus and other materials. Could make one hell of a drink if Jon is nice to you?
"Welcome to the Goblin's Goblet, sir! Would you care for a pint of Old Speckled Cloudcap?"

David, I knew where you were going, immediate big damn heroes from me. Big E coming in clutch again, far out well played all!
Excellent. Ancient tombs, hoards of gold, secret compartments, random encounter, wand of lighting, and of course the supremely useful rope.
Leaving a like and comment for the algorithm. Ill be back in a few weeks to watch it properly.

Absolutely, those theater kids make me barf
Yes, we all know Crit Role... And that's why we are all HERE! 😀
Amazing episode guys! Very nicely done!
Algae Rhythm
Getting the car serviced, listening while I wait. You’ve made my morning!

That #1 HP is Wulfheard's favorite one, and he's quite happy to be there! 😅
And just like that it is Tuesday and I have 3d6 to listen to while getting ready for work
Ha! Matt practically mooned us when he went to tuck in his kid. Wulfheard Cheek, indeed.
Hey, we gotta build those Patreon numbers somehow! 🌒

The title made me audibly laugh
Wait, you read the title? I just watch and listen and comment. Guess I'll have to start reading as well.
What was that spider spell Ted mentioned at the start? Sounded like Den full of spiders.
Brain Full of Small Spiders. It’s a unique spell from Arden Vul.
@@3D6DTL Cheers
Thanks to a typo, however, it's now "Brian Full of Spiders." Sorry, Brian.
Love a good b team romp!

Hell yeah they are
Another big haul! Good thing they didnt bring Gangreene or history might have repeated.
Clutch Lisbeth for the win
Shouldn’t lighting bolt reflect back into Titus?
Are Matt's Barbarian and Cleric really so different?
?
David always trying to scam the rules hardcore. lol
lol which rule was that?
