Thank you both for being so honest in your answers. Motherhood is a beautiful blessing but it's not without its challenges. We need more mothers speaking on the up's & downs so women are not blind sided. Great video, keep up the good work with the parenthood content. 😊❤

Thank you Joey for adding in on a Father/Partners perspective. We often hear from the Mum being real and raw but in my opinion, it's rare to hear from Dads. Your honesty is refreshing and lve actually shared this video with a few people that needed to hear this, l waited for their feedback before l commented.
Annabell most of us do not experience that "magical moment" and lm so glad you spoke about this with such compassion for yourself!
Huge thanks to both of you, hope you never change the content to "fit" the "perfect" narrative.
Side note l watched your short, that was not a mum "fail", lm so glad you booked someone to drive you home, as parents we are constantly adapting the situation based on our children's needs and you did exactly that, l call that a Mum "win" 😊

Thank you so much! That means a lot and thank you for sharing the video with others! we try to be as real as possible because I never heard anyone say it’s not a magical moment so I felt less than and embarrassed to say! But the more honest we are the less pressure it puts on others! 🤍

Annabell, thank you for saying about missing the ‘magical moment’ after Oakley was born. I gave birth 5 weeks ago and was literally just in shock after he came out and I was holding him (labour was fast, from being sent home saying I wasn’t in active labour, then rushing back to hospital with a few mins to spare and he was born just 3 hours after being sent home, 5 mins after arriving back into hospital)
    Loved this video!!
