i was expecting someone to eventually say the orion was a bit handle light considering they seem to be original orion handles but with more material cut away, but still kinda wanna get one myself just to try it

its gonna be $75 form the trainer and $85 for the live blade, it feels cheap because it is but this is a EXTREAMLY good knife for the price. watch the blade bias vid on it.
If you do make a follow up video on this knife, you should try it with the additional weight pins installed and see how you like it. LDY sats on their socials that you can't install the pins with the live blade but I'm pretty sure there's no issues if you do.
Can you tell me where I can find any information on these weight pins? No info on ldy site at all
@@iamdissapoint4614 I probably saw the info on their instagram, and if you own one of these knifes it’s pretty clear how the weight pins work. There are extra slots drilled into the end of the handles that you can put the additional pins into.
I think the reason it feels weird for you is cause maybe you're used to flipping more momentum-strong or semi heavy balis?? I've noticed a lot of new balisongs are on the lighter side which a lot of ppl like, me included, but most of them I've noticed that you always thought something was wrong??? I think it probably has to do with the weight being lighter along with being neutral, cause for your preferences(i think lmao) you prefer a little more handle bias and momentum, but for me and some other ppl who like lighter and neutral, stuff like the orion is just rlly good somehow idk

Currently awaiting the restock of the Blue splash ano trainer to come back in stock so that I can continue my collection. I've been wanting a light, neutral balisong to have prolonged practice sessions with. I already have the Antarctic 2, but I feel the blade is just a little too short to carry certain tricks so I have been looking for an alternative. Not to mention that I will be going out of country and wish to bring a trainer with me to keep my flipping fix. So I think this balisong is a good fit thanks to all the praise it has been getting.

This is completely irrelevant but I'm curious if you ever plan on making a live blade Vulp. I've been thinking of getting one just for fun but I'd prefer to hold out if theres a chance for a live blade version.

It def has to do with customs now due to 10 of his balis being confiscated by customs when he sent them to the other will who is one of the middle men in the US who ships. So it will probably be this way everytime from here on out tbh. The fact its 85 dollars is good but I dont like it lol

Both the trainer and the live version are the same material so they will flip differently even tho they have just about the same weight
Well that's not the reason; diff material would mainly just change the weight, so they change the amount of material in the blade to match them
The reason they flipp differently is because even though they weigh the same total, the weight is in different places(because the metal is in a different place, they're not exactly the same shape yk)
Good to know. Btw, if you don′t mind me asking, how do you get the camera angle in these videos? I thought it was a gopro for a while, until you showed your face from the overhead angle at 3:10. Pretty sure you can′t do that with a gopro.

Hello there, I just wanted to ask a question what do you think is the best blade for flipping that also looks good I have a Kershaw stainless steel it’s quite heavy but I’m getting stronger in my flipping just wondered if there’s a better blade out there that looks good and flips good I do like the look of the max ace obsidian but was told it’s not good for flipping any ideas thank you peace ✌️
Since you already have a kershaw, get some flytanium handles for it. I bought mine as blem for like 80 bucks and it completely changed the knife. I have one if these too and I like it. My thoughts are to get as many different knives as you can for different experiences. A kraken will be my next knife.
