- Another Vintage (1991) Compact Audio CD Player from Sony. This being the Sony D-33.
These are jewels of an era gone by where functionality and quality mattered over anything else. It is amazing to see that devices like this and the D-50 released in 1984 are still working with no issues at all.. that is almost 40 years.... can we even think of a modern day electronic device that can last this long ???? - Розваги

This is one of my dream portable CD players to own one day the other player is the rare SONY D88 model that spins the CD exposed both of these look pretty nice and im definitely on the hunt for them at my local thrift stores

@@levscollection4566 i know it's a bit hard to justify. It's a beautiful CD player though. Maybe if I win the lottery and money Isn't a issue then maybe I'll get one until then I'll just use my new MonoDeal portable CD player which gets the job done and still looks pretty good for a newer CD player

If I ever get the opportunity and can afford one the first thing I'm going to do is get in to a CD player repair shop and get it serviced and fixed up if needed next I'll pick up a brand new rechargeable battery for it and enjoy it as my secondary portable CD player it won't be my everyday player it'll be preserved for fun weekends to show people and friends who come by and maybe at Starbucks when I feel like having a little fun. Maybe someday that'll be reality

I picked this one up from ebay and it was very inexpensive. I wondered if it actually worked. The seller was honest and I left him a 5 star feedback :)

@@tong055 I did experience this situation with the player... i had this player connected to a set of speakers and both the speakers and the player were on the same table / desk. when i started playing... the audio started to really clip or even stop. I thought it was some big issue... then what I did was i kept the speakers on another table so that the vibrations from the speakers would not affect the player and after that.... the player was working fine.....
so I am just assuming that would be the case in your situation.... see if that works... if it doesn't.. then I am sorry I do not have the technical expertise to suggest anything more.
Depending on where you are located there might be some local Electronic technician / engineer who could diagnose the problem and possibly fix it.
