Yeah- I thought that switch was new as well- but it isn't, it's on the original V1 OCD. The original OCD always sounded like it had a blanket over it though- muffled. This one doesn't seem to be so bad though- I like it more, I think.
well there was 7 different versions of the V1 haha, who knows which one thats based on. i have the V1.7 and it's pretty bright, they all vary a bit. the V2 is even brighter but also more gain and compression if i remember right.

Cheap shipping anywhere in the world? That has changed recently for Andertons. Until very recently it used to be $75 to ship a guitar from Andertons to the US, I'm pretty sure that it is now $120. At least the last time I had a SS SE Dragon Fruit guitar in my Andertons' cart.
you can get really great pedals in almost every price range from 25 to 80 up to 150 but everything above that for a "simple" pedal will just decrease your money even more but not improve your sound any further imo. peace 🙏

@@danishpete It's a normal players action when going for higher gain, that's what humbuckers usually can do,. But you were presenting a pedal so the situation is different in a way. We might expect that the gain change comes from a pedal alone at that point instead of adding more from a guitar to accidentally obscure what the pedal can do. Lee & Pete demo these pedals toward "Baby Boomer bluesmen" . There is another world out there of bands who use pedals for unique , creative sounds . I love a 59 Les Paul into a Marshall Plexi but the price of that scene is ridiculous . I remember when JD Simo was super into 1959 Gibson Les Pauls and Plexi's . But playing the poor Blackmans blues on million dollars worth of equipment is kinda sacrilegious . Now JD is playing old cheap Japanese guitars and old cheap amps .

Wow I fell asleep and had a dream when I was listening to this and I ended up over there in your studio and I was talking to you guys and I said hey I am William I'm from America Colorado and there was like a little group of people there and there was a bunch of kids and for some reason Pete said wow who are all these kids and I looked at them and I said oh these are all my kids there must have been a dozen of them and I started naming the kids, this is Vicky this is Linda this is anyway you get the picture then I asked the Captain I said you said I w o n something in a reply to some, comment I made and I go well I'm here I'm telling the dream because it just happened right now and then I had some CD of some sort we were listening to it through your system but the area was larger than what seem to be from watching your shows and there was like a whole stage behind you with a full setup with drums bass amps guitar amps and keyboards Mike's and PA speakers up there and then some chairs pointing about twenty feet in front of the stage but not pointing towards the stage but the other way towards a big monitor screen and then off to the left in between the stage and the seats there was a couple of rooms over there with all kinds of equipment one room had this giant Leslie in it anyway after a while and everybody wanted to get going from your place there I started thinking well I got to get to the airport and I was thinking am I going to make it back because I have to get a connecting flight in New York wild dream but yeah it was right there in your studio it was pretty cool the captain Pete there was a couple other people and I remember a a puppy was there too one of those real fuzzy cute almost look like one of those snow dog puppies from the movie anyway wow
