The Elephant Nose fishes are amazing!! Unique indeed. You have great luck at the claw machine but we often thought our luck are limitless .. so your capybara (with turtle bag) from $2 becomes $6 in the end .. Hohoho!
Hi Ah Hong, Yishun 最旺的 playground is at Yishun Green Link Blk 662 or behind Northland Primary. It's packed with kids, parents, teenagers and joggers every weekday around 6pm. For curry puff, I love the chinese style curry pastry at 645 bakery, just around the corner from the Nasi Lemak place. BTW, do you know that Yishun MRT is only about 20 mins to Orchard MRT? Thanks for featuring 'crazy town' Yishun!

There is a relatively new curry puff sold in a small shop in Yishun called uncle curry puffs. The sambal puff is mind blowing. If they decide to expand, the big boy brands can move one side hahahah

Update on the carrot cake. I have always been very vocal about how good this store is. To ex colleague bosses, current new colleagues, friends. So much so my new colleagues want to try for tomorrow breakfast. As we start work really early and the shop opens 6.45am. I went today 6am to tell aunty I want to order and pay for 5 packets for tomorrow (Monday) as I have done before previously. She rudely said no cannot have to come and queue tomorrow. So I explained to her that I have to reach office really early and quite risky due to their waiting time. She loudly said “ those your boss and colleague not mine what” then the son turned around and said something like it’s our business we make the rules. I dunno what happened to their attitude. Always been a little brash but never to this extent. It’s as if they are purposely chasing away customers. They stay my block and whenever I see aunty I greet her too. Shucks now stuck with no breakfast which I promised colleagues lol.
yishun is like the any other towns in singapore, just that some writers and hosts keep on making a mole hill out of a mountain whenever some unfavourable news came out from there.
