- Day 2 of purchasing my Pearl White 2023 Nissan Z. In this episode i'm picking up my RZ34 and driving HOME over 500 Miles. It's a great way to break-in the engine if done properly. If done wrong it can be the worse thing for breaking-in an engine because of the constant speed. It's important to vary engine speed early on.

Congrats on the new Z! Don't worry about auto tranny, most will be. Just the gear heads scream the loudest. I'm considering the Base/Sport in Rosewood, with standard grey split 5 spokes. The 18inch wheels will limit the road harshness and I'll add a rear spoiler. 2024 for me after shortage and mark ups. No Sport Zs around me anyway.

I feel the Zs are meant to be tuned!!!
The side skirts need to be rebuilt in fiberglass and carbon fiber to get the look you want. OEM skirts are plastic, and a overlay will collect water, dirt, and filth. No one will want to buy that.
I don’t mind giving it a shot. If they go bad I’ll just buy new skirts 🙃

I have shown videos of my MKIV Supra and people have seen that its an automatic and i frankly don't give 2 shits what their opinion is of me and it being automatic, i don't even make an attempt to mention that its automatic in any video because i don't care and i dont need to apologize to anyone for it being an automatic.

I only gave a deposit to a dealership that had a vin. My initial dealerships I contacted about the Z and I was one of the first on their list haven’t even received a Z yet. Gotta look else where even out of state.

@@ZillaFullBoost I’ve had all types of sports car - the challenger, charger, etc but the Z is the one I live the best for its styling and performance. The 370z is so fast that I can’t imagine have more hp under the hood !! Enjoy it and park the car in the nosebleed seats to avoid any door dings. It drives my wife nuts when I do this but it avoids door ding headaches and I also get my steps in !! Lol

Can you tell us what you paid for it? I've been contacting dealers trying to get one (looking to trade in my '16 370Z Nismo), but they're all looking for $10-15K over MSRP. Personally don't want to pay $60K+ for a Z. Were you able to get yours closer to MSRP?
This guy paid 25K easily over msrp. I work at a dealership and they are all in agreement to sell minimum over 25k.

Those bridgestones are meant for storage as most of the people that owns the Z as a 2nd or 3rd car. As long as they have the right pressure, theyll sit forever without flat spot and still perform when spring comes. I still have the oe Potenza S001 on my 2017 Nismo.
