I have never fished a BFL because I work a lot of saturdays.......But if I ever do, I hope I get to fish with a boater like you.......I have heard of bad boaters but you seem to be a great guy that even will give you a bait that your catching fish on.....Keep plugging away....
Hey Tyler, if you need help with ledge fishing, I can help you. I used to fish the BFLs and Weekends Series.. I now put more time in Toyota Series and ABAs.. I fish both Barkley and KY lakes.. mostly out of Paris Landing and Bumpus Mills. Don't be shy... I am here to help...
Hey Brian. I appreciate the offer. I might just have to hit you up some time. I've been starting to get it figured out for sure, just not as consistently as I need to be. It seems like right now on the lakes you need to have quite a few spots to run throughout the day in order to get enough good bites to do well on the ledges so I've been spending a lot of time just idling and making a lot of waypoints haha. It's definitely a fun way of fishing though!
@@tylerbefusfishing Sounds good... Here the deal... The carp have push the shad off most of the mani lake ledges... So the bass numbers are way down on ledges,,, You must find the shad in other places...Thats the key.. I still catch big fish on ledges, but they come in one or two fish... you have to move,, look for bars and ditches around the mouth of the bays and secondary channels..
Nice job! Ive been mainly fishing JPPL for the past few weeks. This past Sunday my son and I hit up KYL. Caught only one keeper, but ran into a couple schools boated almost 30 bass, fishing main lake points using crank baits. It was fun. Were you fishing main lake points as well? Crazy they were hitting topwater that late in the morning.
Hey Jake. It was a lot of main lake points and the first one or two swing points headed back into creek arms. They were loaded up best on points with deep water access within a couple hundred feet rather than big flats. And yeah, I couldn’t believe it that they were feeding on top like that! Surface temps were in the low 90’s by that time of day haha.

Thanks Marc. I appreciate the kind words. Hope to see you out there at a BFL sometime. They’re a great time!
Great job nothing like it when the lake boils with fish near the surface
Absolutely! It was a blast for the few days it lasted haha.
