Rudy had to pivot in the middle of his build when Mischief maker was hurt. He did a great job of finishing most of it by himself but KUdos for his girlfriend who picked up the slack and really contributed.
It truly is unfortunate that Holly got hurt because she did have quite a bit of savy with the whole process of building a rig. Janelle made the best of the situation but the she's gaining the knowledge as she goes instead of knowing it already.
Agreed, but he could have just lifted the body from the rear bumper to flex out the suspension (hi lift jack or wood Block and jack under hitch would do) to get that driveshaft on. Grinding the pinion shaft was a panick move
How can anyone have a negative comment here? Watching the efforts that each team put in, it gave me great ideas and more confidence in my builds Thanks Ian & OnX
Some people can't help putting someone down when lifting their favorites up. I'm a long time fan of all the contestants, so I'm happy no matter the outcome.
This series, so far, has been insanely inspiring. I'm sub'ed to each channel , all before I knew about this challenge. I put myself in a position the past 6 years, that made it super rough for myself. So much so, I have been teetering the edge of depression. Every episode from each of the teams pulls me from that edge. Watching each build inspires me to wake up every morning and push through the day to work harder. After watching this episode, when I reach the next plateau, I'm going to find me a project truck and start my new challenge. No matter how long it takes, when it's done I'm driving it from Ontario Canada to Colorado and doing Ophir Pass. That is some of the most beautiful scenery I've seen, and we have a lot here in north America. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart to all the teams, OnX and the crew for this challenge for sharing your experiences!!
Slightly Modified FJ Cruiser (completely stock factory engine) had no problem with any elevations in Colorado, been all over Ouray, Ophir Pass, Cinnamon Pass, Black Bear, Imogene, Poughkeepsie Gulch, etc...
I think the competition was over as soon as Colt got the call. That man is on a mission! He not only built the best rig but is going all in on every challenge while also being enthusiastic and entertaining. Add Matt to the mix and they are like the dynamic duo on camera, their goofy energy is off the chain.
So good to see the 3 trucks out driving some terrain. To be honest I don’t think Ophir required the air down, but all the guys did so off we go. I’m voting for Bleepinjeep⬆️✅👍
Black Bear being closed was a much bigger deal than they made of it. It is one of the best Jeep Trails in the state and would have made a much better Offroad segment.
Would never have chosen that S10. But for what Colt did, from the smart choices he made to just what an off-road beast he created and how well it performed, it is the winner in my book. Loved the bob tail look and the fact he chose to leave the patina. The Lexus would have been my choice for comfort but clearly it’s not made for boulder crawling. Loved the color plus the originality of using stickers on the hood and back look great. Now for the Ram Charger, I would never have chosen that vehicle for this build. Because it’s so massive, the trails would chew it up plus its way too heavy and that was before Rudy added every possible option underneath it. Like a kid who was used to their dad indulging. But I know Rudy worked very hard on that build. He just bit off more than he could accomplish in time so the quality suffered. Wasn’t a fan of the color either. To me something more old school that matched the original color would have shone better. And I think going over budget should have had greater penalties as that’s the same as cheating.
I wonder who’s the favorite team of the ONX guy….. hmmmmm…. Hard to tell with who wins every challenge with some sort of reasoning on every one, one challenge time is what matters the next what matters is setting up food that gets the win😂
props to rudy and his girl, a great bonding experience to build a relationship... but I did have bleepin' jeep from the start, just wondered how they would choose to win
I’m a big fan of RAD and Bleepin Jeep. I didn’t watch much of the Toyota build but if they have 39’s on stock drivetrain then I’m pretty impressed with those Landcruisers! Fun episode.
Small note on Team Dumpster Fire: they started with a Lexus LX 450 and cut all the 'luxury' weight off of it. There were a few parts that didn't translate over to FJ100 parts, so they had to fabricate.
I like Ophir Pass. We did it last year with our offroad trailer and 4 runner. Only bad thing is that the trail is only 1 vehicle wide and no turn outs on the climb.
Black Bear being closed was a much bigger deal than they made of it. It is one of the best Jeep Trails in the state and would have made a much better Offroad segment.
To be fair, Colt did %80 literally by himself. Matt helped like 3 weeks of the 3 months and kept up on regularly scheduled programming on the channel. They easily put out the most content over the period and it wasn't all about the Flex-10 build. Also Colt wants this super bad, I don't think anyone else stood a chance from the moment he got the call.

Not them compete to represent onX.....Its looks like onX wouldn't even have any views if it weren't for these UA-camrs.....If this was simply a competition between channels, I feel like it would have taken off alot more. The amount of effort each team put in per build, verses the return in views for this series seems extremely low.
They don't care as long as people download the app the ROI is solid. The individual channels have On-X all over them at the same time. This generates 'buzz' and drives algorithms not just hear but for cross platform advertising. Remember this is an Alphabet product, and On-X wants to identify and target a specific audience. The people that make it to this video are prime targets... I mean, I bought it.
I downloaded it to vote, I didn't buy it. And after watching how they are picking who they want, not showing the builds budgets while claiming RAD was 9k over, even tho rudy fabricated almost everything himself, and here only showing the winners finished camp. I'll be deleting it soon.

@@aaronb7990 I understand, but I was ready to watch some crazy offroad, going thru hells gate, etc. And all they've done Is setting up tents, taking of axles or shocks, that's important to know but you can tell from viewers, we were waiting for offroad driving, obstacles and more...
@@BoschPorsche Yeah, they should have explained what happened to this episodes offroad segment better. They made it seem like they were taking an equivalent trail and that was absolutely not the case. For what it's worth the next episode is going to be doing a crazy trail. They have the owner of Off Road designs leading them on a super hard trail.
I know it was a good On-X plug for the re route but would have been good to include that it was going to ruin the Offroading part of this video that was planed. Black Bear Pass is 'One of the best known Jeep Trails in the State' and would have made for an awesome Offroading segment to this video.
@@BigTireGarage I know, but the message wasn't conveyed in the video so there are a bunch of comments about how 'there wasn't any offroading'. I was just saying it could have been explained in the video better that the alternate route wasn't going to provide the desired filming/challenges as I am sure the original route would have. People didn't understand that you guys had planned a trip to one of the top Jeep Trails in the state. It just didn't come through in the video that the alternate route wasn't an equivalent route.
@@aaronb7990The production kind of sucked, tbh. A lot of gaps that were never addressed. I get that it’s a marketing video, but this series felt like something you’d see on TNN 20 years ago. The build videos themselves were the only worthwhile content that came out of this challenge.
Lets have a competition where being a big scary dude is a huge advantage and leave all the 145lb guys to sweat it out on the more complicated vehicles. Doesnt seem like a fair fight when Rudy is sharp as a tack but getting frustrated at stupid things like a ziptied hand. The UA I know the team to finish first should've split up to give the other teams a hand so no man was left behind.
Seriously? Installing a shock with one hand or setting up camp blindfolded is going to determine who wins? What’s next, tug or war or maybe musical chairs? really hope they let them all go on the UA trip, they all are more than deserving. 😅
Black Bear being closed was a much bigger deal than they made of it. It is one of the best Jeep Trails in the state and would have been the Offroad segment of this episode had it not been unseasonably closed.
Exactly 🤣..... I've made similar critique in my comments..... I hope you didn't give them any ideas . I'll fall out my chair, if in future videos they have a tug of war or musical chair segment.
The goofy challenges are just dumb, some realistic challenges that show can they make sufficient trail repairs in a timely manner so they’re not holding up the rest of the group.
to be honest all of this feels like a bad joke pointed at the people that actualy enjoy this content i liked the app more before i watched this video lol im not upset about who is winning or loseing i like all of these people and watch there content the points system dose not track the chalanges feel like they are half thaughts of some one who has no intrest in the event the whole show is like a crappy MTV spinoff with a written naritive at the end of the day this is not what this comunity wants because the show feels hollow like its made for stock holders and not consumers and if you think i am wrong go to any of these youtubers chanels and compair this videos views with there most recent upload and then tell me i am wrong i was excited that good content creaters and an app i like are makeing something interesting i dont really feel the same way now. UA is amazing and is truly a dream for alot of people. thank you onx for making good people jump in slow motion like its a cheep 90s sitcom. i guess let me know when all the competitors are running a american ninga warior corse im shure it will show there skills at fabricating and offroading.
Not going to sugar coat this. Not impressed with the "vote" crap. Popularity is not a useful tool to decide which vehicle meets the challenges of the terrain it was built for. And the so called challenges of the removal of drive lines and changing out shocks not to mention setting up a camp blindfolded, have nothing to do with off road capabilities. It would be like building a ski boat, parking it on land, asking for opinions if it looks the part, ranking it on how many beverage holders it has, testing your skills at washing the bumpers(hang over the side to protect your boat from the dock)and lastly, if you can part out the steering wheel in under 10 minutes. WTF does any of that have to do with the task at hand?
They get better. Suprised how few people watch the channels since they show this whole filming series. I think Bleepin Jeeps version is over an hour and produced excellently. To be fair for this episode they had to take an alternate route that was basically a dirt road for what should have been the offroad filming. Black Bear Pass is a 6/10 with obstacles >3', ledges, steep grades, and deep water crossing. Ophir Pass is a 4/10 and is 'rocky' and narrow for a short section. Can't really blame them that the trail was unseasonably closed.
Sucks that Rudy put so much time, effort and quality into the RadCharger just to compete in lame events. OnX is cool and all but they need to get rid of the squids with too much gel in their hair. Seriously.... What's the point of taking months to build bad ass off road trucks if the challenge is setting up a tent and taking non broken parts of the rigs. Rudy I'm sorry that your build and time is getting wasted.
You don't just have to sign up. You can vote on the free tier and don't even have to download the app. I did it on my computer but any web browser will do.
I am torn between Bleepin Jeep and Rudy&Ganell, my one big gripe was the massive two tousand plus deduction in the first round of the tally I feel the tallies for the third place are way to stringent and will make it impossible to bounce back from totally unfair, as you have not taken into account that Rudy relly is a one man team for a lot of the challeges I do not mean to knock Ganell but she is not in the same league as the other teams, and not his doing as Holley had to pull out and Rudy had little choice as there were no options to get an matching Holley team mate.
these challenges show how out of touch they are of the content off roaders want to watch. This feels like a bad reality show. I like the rigs and contestants though. good group of people.
They had to pay for being over budget with votes. They are still working their way up from being in the red. The points at the end are the cumulative points.
I only watched this because of Rudy, but the production style is too cringe worthy to keep going. Sad that he busted his ass by himself to build that rig and this is the best that OnX can do.
How about more wheeling and less dumb games? One handed shock change 🙄. On X dude with the hair is Cringe. I came here because of Rudy, followed him since the MORR days, but I really dig the S-10. I have a ‘92 4WD with a 4.3 sitting in my driveway. I’m getting some great bad ideas…
Loved this up until the zip tying one arm behind your back..... This is f*cking stupid....😡 what does this have to do with building a vehicle and putting it through different trails to see who built the best off-road vehicle on a budget Hope this doesn't turn into some stupid reality show.... Probably just start jumping forward in video until we get back to the premise of this competition.... off-road challenges
Black Bear being closed was a much bigger deal than they made of it. It is one of the best Jeep Trails in the state and would have been the Offroad segment of this episode had it not been unseasonably closed.
@@aaronb7990 I respectfully point out, that there is numerous other trails they could of done.... even at the last minute 🤔..... Adding these silly reality show challenges is nothing but video fluff , that nobody including the 3 teams knew about before agreeing to the contest.... According to the looks on their faces and the cut video of them being interviewed...... can clearly see they hired some producer with past experience working on a network reality series..... As I said in first comment..... I'll just fast forward past the stupid challenges, one arm , blindfolded and any other ridiculous challenges in future segments also
@@Sentry1835 I would have to disagree on there being other trail they could have done last minute. We all got the short straw when the trail was temporaraly closed in the middle of the season. As for the challenges they weren't that bad. They are teams and demonstrating team work is important in offroading. Gooffy, yes, I agree on some TV producer had too much say in tasks. The one hand behind the back thing was dumb, shocks are hard enough to do with 2 people that have both hands. A simpler thing like you can only do one at a time to make the teams work together would have sufficed for a 'teamwork' objective. The blindfolded camp setup was decent though. To me I would have liked it to be mandatory that the driver was blindfolded to imitate the co-pilot being the spotter. It would have made more sence that way IMO.
Black Bear being closed was a much bigger deal than they made of it. It is one of the best Jeep Trails in the state and would have been the Offroad segment of this episode had it not been unseasonably closed.
@@aaronb7990 Black Bear being closed shouldn't have been a surprise and there are plenty of alternatives in the area. If the plan was Imogene and Black Bear, why didn't they run Imogene?
@goofyat210 I'm not sure what your point is. I have gotten to trails that were supposed to be open, and they weren't plenty of times. Sometimes plans have to change when they have to change, and plans had to change. Why not Imogene?Imogene and Black Bear were both closed, not just Black Bear. If you want all the action, go watch the channels that are participating. Bleepin Jeep already put out their video. It's 1hr 20 min long and covers the last 2 videos here and the upcoming one from their POV. At 44:20 in their video is where Colt says that both of the trails are closed.
I just watch these for Bleepin' Jeep and RAD. The other team is new to me, but seems pretty awesome. The host is also new to me and just isn't for me. No offense intended, and nothing but the best of wishes for him, just not for me. The challenges are stupid.
Its so obvious how two of the teams play on woke marketing objectives thinking that that it will give them a win. From the "we have a girl and we look pretty, look she can do things too" to the rich kid reddit pandering of "we have a land cruises and we look trendy" im just glad that the show actually was honest about the challenges and it was based on merit and not woke agendas. So many things we see in media are fake today, to the point that it has become standard practice to do these things. PROBABLY WHY THE OTHER TWO TEAMS LOST BOTH PARTNERS BC THEY KNEW IT WAS GOING TO BE FAIR!
This old TV style of filming this stuff is garbage. The music, the challenges, the talking etc. is not why we watch... it's the wheeling we're interested in.
I wanted to enjoy this content but it’s had to take seriously. Zero interest in watching someone remove shocks with a hand zip-tied or set up camp blind folded. The reality tv aspect made me immediately dislike it. The individual creators content is significantly better than onX, they should have taken notes and followed that format Instead.

@@lethargicmotorsport2025 The fact they built the rigs should prove that.
@@Gravedigger81 very true , based on that all three teams should get an invite.
wow...i feel bad for nate. the amount of work he put into that. oof.....
to be honest all of this feels like a bad joke pointed at the people that actualy enjoy this content i liked the app more before i watched this video lol
im not upset about who is winning or loseing i like all of these people and watch there content
the points system dose not track
the chalanges feel like they are half thaughts of some one who has no intrest in the event
the whole show is like a crappy MTV spinoff with a written naritive
at the end of the day this is not what this comunity wants because the show feels hollow like its made for stock holders and not consumers
and if you think i am wrong go to any of these youtubers chanels and compair this videos views with there most recent upload and then tell me i am wrong
i was excited that good content creaters and an app i like are makeing something interesting i dont really feel the same way now. UA is amazing and is truly a dream for alot of people. thank you onx for making good people jump in slow motion like its a cheep 90s sitcom. i guess let me know when all the competitors are running a american ninga warior corse im shure it will show there skills at fabricating and offroading.
Thank you for watching and the comment, we will be looking at feedback like this as we start planning for next year!
🤘😎👍
Thought this was supposed to be an “off-road build challenge” not who can r&r parts challenge… 😢 disappointed
Yeah, thought it would be about the most capable rig. These challenges are pretty goofy
Someone clue me in, how is Dumpster fire so behind on votes?
@@ThePioneerSpirit thank you, that makes sense. The Rad charger went way over budget though? The BleepinJeep guys should go.
Thank you for the content, been looking forward to this one. Please do a little more with the sound mix. It’s fairly average in fairness.
🤓
Do you superficially pick these "challenges" to eliminate Rudy? He basically had one person vs 2 on other teams
That's what it seems like!
I think it's BS you have to buy the app to vote .
That's how they sucker people in.
So people who voted for Rudy just lost there votes and you giving them to another team am I right on this, please exspain
They had to pay for being over budget with votes. They are still working their way up from being in the red. The points at the end are the cumulative points.
That ram charger waisted their budget in the wrong areas
I only watched this because of Rudy, but the production style is too cringe worthy to keep going. Sad that he busted his ass by himself to build that rig and this is the best that OnX can do.
very lame!!
This is f*cking stupid....😡 what does this have to do with building a vehicle and putting it through different trails to see who built the best off-road vehicle on a budget
Hope this doesn't turn into some stupid reality show.... Probably just start jumping forward in video until we get back to the premise of this competition.... off-road challenges
very stupid
It would have made more sence that way IMO.
stupid challenges, just do off road challenges.
agreed lol. I don’t hate the other challenges... would just prefer off road ones so much more
Black Bear being closed was a much bigger deal than they made of it.
This was a failed idea in my opinion. Awful challenges and set ups
The music, the challenges, the talking etc. is not why we watch... it's the wheeling we're interested in.
this turned into a stupid game show pretty fast.
ANOTHER corny challenge that has nothing to do with reality or how good of a build was done.
These challenges don’t have anything to do with real off roading capabilities of the rigs. Just reality tv like tripe. I’m out.
I like off road shows but this is gimmicky reality tv bs that I can't stand.
