Cheating should never be forgiven. That person made a CHOICE to cheat. But it wasn't just "one mistake" like people tend to say. They made many choices that were mistakes to their relationship with you. They made a CHOICE to not tell you that they were talking/meeting up with someone else. They made a CHOICE to lie to you if they ever had to. They made a CHOICE to do something immoral, knowing that they are already in a relationship with you. They made a CHOICE to kiss/take off clothes/ do other activities not only behind your back, but just in the first place, knowing they're in a relationship. And they made a CHOICE when in their head, the first thing that came to mind was you, but they said something similar to, "Oh, they'll never find out. It's just one time. Etc etc". However, its important to not stoop low to this level of toxicity, too. It will hurt when you find out. But you must be strong in yourself. There's no point in loving someone if they don't love you equally. But if you cannot make the decision to move on and forget about that person, then you are not "loving" yourself aka taking care of YOU before anybody else, which means you aren't ready to love anyone. I say "Bless and release", so, in other words. I'd say for you to confront the cheater, calmly tell them you know they are cheating and you are done, wish them well in life and walk away. Don't ever turn back. Just wanted to get my 2 cents in, hopefully at least one person reads this and takes something away from it. Merry Christmas everyone, stay safe and stay positive!! Daequan always promoting positivity, it's amazing.
