Happy New Year!!! I love studio tours!!!! Ik these weren't from 2023 but my favorites are definitely the tours with Tony Anderson, Matt Mahaffey, and Jordan Critz.Honorable mentions being; Graybox, Josh Bonanno, Thomas Dulin, Jermey Luito, Atlantic Studios West, and Warm Audio Studios.
Someone who I think you should check out to do a tour with is Shane Lance. He has a very simple home studio but it would be very cool to see it more in depth. And he has a podcast that you might be interested in. Regardless, I'm looking forward to more videos and more podcast episodes!
One of my goals for 2024 is to get better midrange in my mixes. For the most part I’m recording artists' vocals over a 2-track and mixing the vocals to the 2-track. So I don’t mix multitracks as often. But when I do, my midrange destories the mix. I’ll also hopefully be moving out this year!!!! Upgrading any equipment will probably wait until after I move out. Except I will most likely purchase a Lauten Audio Clarion or Atlantis. I lovvvvveee the way they sound on vocals.

Happy New Year Andrew. One of my goals for 2024 would be to appear in one of your episodes, with a theme of "what would Andrew do" if he had my home studio. Basically, you come to my home studio (I'm 2 hrs south of Sweetwater's Ft. Wayne campus) and pick one or two changes you'd make if it were your recording space. I can buy the additions from Sweetwater and you help me install it (e.g. new patchbay setup, or new monitors). This would be a cool episode and might help others think about their rooms with an eye for continuous improvement. And it's a great way to interact with one of your fans. I'm sure Sweetwater will be glad to take my money. LOL
Awesome video to end one heck of a year. Thanks for all the great content and inspiration. Question: Other than the podcast channel is there any particular reason to having a separate channel as you mentioned in the video? Why not simply have everything under this channel? Seems like it would make it harder for viewers to find content thinking it is on one channel only to find out that it is on your other channel. The content seems similar enough to just have it on one channel. So one channel will be only Epic Studio tours and then everything else will be on the other channel. Okay I think I got it. Is there any internal YT content creator benefits to having the separate channel and most important will all the channels be under a main "Andrew" account? I have a main YT account with a channel, but planning on starting multiple new channels. Thanks. I know that was way too much. LOL!

haha pretty early, I try to get to bed at 8 and do some writing and prep for the next day. I'm usually passed out before 9.
