That's How we did it back before DIGITAL... Like you said ..It's a Must to maKE A RECALL-SHEET ON every Rec. on any Source & Lable Song,Date,Instrument ... Etc. & of course your Setings on the OutBoard Gear. "A MUST" Thx Andrew for showing this from the START for starters. :)
The thumbnail and title brought me here... the content and simplicity kept me - DON'T CHANGE THIS FORMULA! ☀💚
Thank you for the Output from your face. It connects to the Input of my brain ;)
Thank you thank you thank you for doing this , Andrew Masters!!!! This is exactly the content I was wanting to know and learn about. 👌
I’ve already learned SO much from your studio tours and gear demos that I’ve gone from buying my first interface to recording bands in a year and to where I felt comfortable applying to school and have been accepted for September. (Not working enough to learn at the rate I’d like to thus school)
Honestly, an entire channel from you focused on educational content and I’m actually confident I can differ school and get more than I need form this channel alone.
It’s like you read my subconscious starting this channel and gave me exactly what I needed haha.
Looking forward to seeing what’s next!
Andrew thank you for putting these videos out. Simplifying this info is a huge help for us just getting our feet wet with home recording!
Loved this man, just started setting up my first home studio this weekend 😅
I remember that old studio upstairs..
hey Andrew just wondering do you have a degree or any formal education in music / recording / audio engineering?
@FRIDGEYTHEGOAT Yep, I went to the recording institute of technology at MI in LA. It was a trade school program where I got a certificate in audio engineering. The majority of my education came after that working as an assistant engineer at Eastwest studios for 6 years.
Good luck on this new direction. One of my favorite content creators. 💪🏾💪🏾
Appreciate it!
Subscribed Andrew and looking forward to more videos from this new channel!
Almost 1000 Subs!!!! Hurray! Loved this video
I know - crazy! Thank you. :)
This is fantastic, Andrew! I would love it if you could share how you name and manage files. Great job!
Great new channel Andrew! Nice to see "basic's" for new users.
What a great content. Please, post a video talking about recall.
Cool! Thanks, Andrew. I've been recording my music at home for years. But, never thought about or knew of Input Sheets. I'm going to start using them from now on! Would have been nice to see how I've progressed or even what I learned worked or didn't work. Oh well. That's why I watch you! Great stuff!
That's cool, they're a life saver when you're on a creative roll.
More Andrew. Excellent
MORE Studio etiquette!
Excited to see what this channel is gonna do this year!!
Thanks!
Thanks Andrew appreciate that I will use it❤
I don’t know where to find the link

Thanks for your excellent content Andrew! I follow and really enjoy your other channel and I'm looking forward to more classes on this one too. Following inputs and outputs, one mystery to me has always been how to properly deal with inserts. So consider this a tip or wish for future video 😊
Thank you so much for this content!
Would love to understand better how patchbays work and also what differences about audio interfaces’ connection types (why choose usb c, thunderbolt, PCIeover firewire and so on)
NICE! 👏🏼 Like - Share - Subscribe… nice work Andrew.. Good move. This is pretty slick.. I see what you’re doin here 🤨 pretty interesting stuff.. I’m gonna get my sons on this. 13/14. This will do good 👍🏼 (I’m still bummed I didn’t win that dangerfox- but never give up 😉
Keep up the good work my friend- we will be tuning in! 🙏🏼
Awww new channel... hmmm I subscribed 😊
Andrew, thanks for this video. What process do you use to capture settings on the devices in the signal chain?
Please give Links to LAMPS. Thank you.
Thanks for the advice dude - on another note are you still rocking the SSL UF8? Im seriously considering getting one and knowing you have had one for some time now would love your thoughts on long term usage....
Still loving mine more than ever.
Just an FYI. I subscribed immediately after you said “YOUR FACE” and then you tried not to crack up… Who are you calling an output?
"you talk into the mic, and it records it"...
This sounds like a very "non magical" way of looking at things
haha yes don't be fooled, it's still magic converting sound to electrical signal back and forth over and over.
