I completely agree! Well done Alexandra! Also, it's so wonderful to see how well team TSG & team AG treated the space with so much respect and eachother. Really shows character. Love you all
I’ve been watching the sorry girls, Amanda rach lee and Alexandra forever and the fact that now both the sorry girls and Alexandra have made over Amanda’s space is everything
I really loved the original Sorry Girls design, especially the dining room with that beautiful table and pendant light. It’s great that Amanda has grown out of her workspace and into the dining room instead. RIP beautiful dining space, hello beautiful new workspace, hooray Canada!!
I didn’t like the layering of the rugs. When she turned it diagonal at the end it looked a lot better. I really liked the maximizing the space with the desk and shelves. It looked pretty cramp in the to begin with.
I knew as soon as she put them down that the pink rug needed to be angled. Not sure if she got help from Alexandra or figured it out herself but it was definitely the right call.
If you're a fan you never can make a fool of yourself when say you are. It's a compliment, Alexandra, to the Sorry Girls. Love how you virtually let this work.
I thought of that too, but to be honest, their makeover is still in play with her living room area and the wall paper. The pendant light had to go bc she didn't have her dining table there anymore, so I'm sure they'd understand.
As long as they were mentioned, which they were; I don’t think it’s a big deal. She’s just is exploring different designers! It’s really nice to get other visions in one space.
Such an amazing transformation! Great call layering the top rug on an angle...something didn't feel right about the way it was initially. I can't believe this makeover was done virtually 👍🏽
Hey! I own a cleaning company and I could use a makeover for my home office, which is also located in our living room! I’ve been trying to come up with some cute ideas, so I’ve been watching these to get some ideas! Thank you for the videos!
the sorry girls know exactly how to create a vibe but alexandra has such a great knack for organization and functionality! a sorry girls x alexandra gater collab on space would be EVERYTHING!
Please no Alexandra....the Sorry Girls sold out to BLM...don't make your fun channel a political entity. Stick with what you do best...I wish they would have...I miss them.
I have to admit I thought no on the layered rugs at first but wow! They turned out looking great. It’s not something I had ever considered before. Great video!!
Prior to my retirement, I was an entrepreneur all of my career, working from home while rising my two sons. The issue of work life balance is a REAL one... In an office space you can walk out the door and lock it around 5 p.m. and move into your home life and relax. When you work at home you find yourself in the office at 10:00 p.m., the stress never leaves you, people are still calling you at 10:p.m. and the divide is really hard to find. After 40 years I just could not do it anymore......
I LOVE when all the channels I watch work together! I found Amanda through another UA-camr, and I'm pretty sure I found Alexandra the same way, so collabs are SO important!! Honestly, I've legit thought about moving to Toronto just because of all the kick-ass UA-camrs there XD I LOVE THE RUGS! I need to buy rugs...but they're so expensive. I also loved the initial styling by The Sorry Girls, but I love the new setup too! Makes sense to add the shelves for all the storage solutions for the INEVITABLE new stationary supplies Amanda will buy. Nice job to both of you.
Yayyy Amanda Rach Lee finally gets an upgrade. an oh my how many people can say they've got their space upgraded and becomes a fusion design masterpiece by 2 UA-camrs?!!! Great job Alexandra and Amanda!!
This was very cute and I hope it will be an effective make-over long-term. The acrylic storage containers are consistent with the kind of storage Amanda's already using. I can see her restyling those shelves many different ways based on the supplies she wants to have out, and the L shaped desk means she can reconfigure her storage drawers and printer stand a few different ways too. Love it!
Love the top layer rug on the diagonal. Love the shelves and the mix of decor and product and supplies. Love the "L" shaped desk and the printer cart. Don't know where the cords disappeared to but there is no more cord clutter. Love how her file cabinet and rolling cart fit in between her desk and the plant so well. Looks great!
I am so delighted whenever I learn that one of my favorite UA-camrs is a fan of my other UA-cam faves. ❤️ Wish you could all just have a show on Netflix. A girl squad like Fab Five - Sorry Girls + Bestdressed + LaurDIY + Alexandra Gater
Love It! So much more functional and no more visual clutter, wich helps with concentrating on work. I love how she laid out the rugs in the end, counterbalances (is that a word??) all the black and white, and gives it a more cozy vibe. Love the fact that she has empty storage room, it literally gives her business room to grow.
This turned out awesome! The choice of layered rug placement worked out perfect. Also love how the shelves draw the eye up and make the pendant feel like it’s more part of the room instead of randomly dangling there stranddd
It's all so great! Love that Xico was able to go and help Amanda. She did so well! That wallpaper is awesome! And I am a fan of the layered rugs, so cozy looking. It all just works so well together!! 🤗
I really like the little rug turned at an angle! I didn’t like the rug by itself or layered when I first saw it. But turned at an angle makes such a difference! The space looks great.
Kudos to Xico's attention to detail as well. The top shelf aligns perfectly with the mirror. That along with the fact that the desk is the exact same height as her credenza makes the corner work so well
I think you nailed it this time!! I've noticed you had many people questioning the functionality of some designs you did lately! But this one really works and without even compromising in style!!! I really love this space! You did so well Alexandra! ♥️♥️♥️
I only found out about Amanda thru this episode. I knew nothing of her but fell in love with her comforting voice. The way she speaks is so soothing it makes me feel warm. Definitely subscribing to her!
OMG YES!!!! New Video!! Wooop! I Love watching your videos, allways a good day when you upload. Together with Sorry Girls and DIY Danni, if all of you upload.. my first reaction is.. where is my popcorn. I don't know why but i have so many youtubers from Canada on my list. Keep up the good work
I would have loved to see more of the room in total at the end 😊😅 It is super interesting to see the beginning, where there is the room in it's natural lived in chaos. I always wonder what happens to this beautiful picture perfekt rooms when life is happening to them. Thanks for keeping it neutral. Also what about getting a nice basket/vase/box to get this rolls out of the nuk between the kitchen and the mirror. I think it would look lovely next to the cabin and printer in the right container. And maybe also buy a really pretty trashcan
It was great, but I do notice that when done virtually, Alexandra's vision/style us not fully translated. Also if u r sorry girls fan, they must be yours, cause u r absolutely genius, especially your collabs with Danie... Buy or DIY!!!!! Loved each episode of the series
Definitely have a love/hate relationship with my printer, as a new planner business creator and owner!! Working on upgrading it, as well as my work space at home!
LOVE this!!!! Omgosh!!!!! Crazy fantastic wallpaper, I swore the rugs would never work, boy was I wrong, printer magic!!! What’s a few missing bulbs among friends? Lol. I love that you share your human moments! I’m getting ready to do something similar- office take over in the dining room and downsize to a small table in the corner. Something about making sure we have a functioning virtual office. (Lol). I thought of considering ceiling to floor beautiful sheets to separate the remaining space, allowing a little softer, muted view of our entire space during the many daily zoom conference calls. I actually found a light gray almost silver linen that could look amazing to separate viewership. Would this look too “hospital”? Thanks!
I was so excited to see this video because I am a huge fan of your channel and I also love Amanda Rach Lee! I can totally binge watch both of your videos.
I remember seeing the sorry girls work on this space. I think you did a great update to make this space more workable. We never really know how our space will work until we use it for a while.
I have the same containers for my large washie collection...I love them...great storage/organization and they are decorative as well...great job on the makeover, you have such great style.
Absolutely brilliant! This one is my favorite in the series now. Functional solutions, and beautiful design that blends in and works off the existing design elements, with changes that were required in the client's current life. And the printer has it's own accessible space. We always keep changing things up at our own homes, so it takes absolutely nothing away from either designer. Love that both my favorites, TheSorryGirls AND Alexandra Gater worked with the same client. Dunno why, but it makes me happy. Amanda has made great designer choices 😊🥰
Love how this makeover turned out!! 💞
Do y’all remember which video it was that you installed those little cubbies underneath the desk in the old loft? I can’t seem to find it
R u jealous
I completely agree! Well done Alexandra! Also, it's so wonderful to see how well team TSG & team AG treated the space with so much respect and eachother. Really shows character. Love you all
yay!! it turned out so well and my productivity levels have definitely been boosted! ❤️
now i get why the setup looked different on your last twitch stream !!
Those high-waisted jeans though... almost make me want to wear jeans! :-D
@@geumhaestudio8297 yup same it all makes sense now

omg amanda i love you
LOVE LOVE when women support each other and not threatened even if they are on the same platform! Makes me love you even more!!
I so agree. It’s not enough of that on here.
Absolutely agree.!! Watch Unjaded jade’s video. She talks about it. The title is “why women shouldn’t be jealous of each other” 🙂
@@amrutabapat-t2805 thanks for the tip! I will check it out. :)
@@amrutabapat-t2805 I looked up that video and she doesn't have anything titled like that. :( I checked keywords, but nothing.
@Lizzy Pop thank you :) I will try again. haah

Was hoping she would skew the rug that way😉 Great vision ... great team work!
I really loved the original Sorry Girls design, especially the dining room with that beautiful table and pendant light. It’s great that Amanda has grown out of her workspace and into the dining room instead. RIP beautiful dining space, hello beautiful new workspace, hooray Canada!!
The L shaped table was such a genius idea! Perfect!
I know, I love it! I clicked on the link because I'm moving next month and it would be perfect, but omg it's $800!!
I love how Amanda did not change the living room part coz the Sorry Girls really nailed it. Alexandra also made that working space so perfect. ♥️
Agreed!!!
Love this virtual vid! Everything, especially the L-shaped desk, the shelving, in particular, greatly placed, organized, and situated together.
I didn’t like the layering of the rugs. When she turned it diagonal at the end it looked a lot better. I really liked the maximizing the space with the desk and shelves. It looked pretty cramp in the to begin with.

This is not how I envisioned an AG x Sorry Girls collab 🤣 but I take what I get 😂
I see her smile replacing her teary eyes after the makeover...im sure she will make great works better...good job to both of u...
The pink rug at an angle was genius.
the sorry girls seeing this in suggested videos: 👁️👄👁️
I thought of that too, but to be honest, their makeover is still in play with her living room area and the wall paper. The pendant light had to go bc she didn't have her dining table there anymore, so I'm sure they'd understand.

My partner watches me watch both channels and has asked me why they haven't done a collab yet 😅
They’ve commented that they liked it
it was a joke, y'all :P
It looks so pulled together now, and really professional, and beautiful.
My favorite makeover. What a difference.
