Yeah, I DEF call bullshit. No way in hell is he achieving 40 MPH+ on a 48V battery, especially with what appears to be 20" wheels (even 24"). Changing the settings of the wheel diameter will just cause it to display a higher speed as it is calulating the speed based on the RPM's and wheel size. I have a Rad Power Bikes RadRunner with a stock 48V battery but upgraded to the 35Amp controller. While it DID increase the top speed, it was only to about 24-25 MPH when fully charged. The main increase you notice is in acceleration and hill climbing. Electric motors' RPM's are dependent on VOLTAGE, which is why pretty much every ebike out there that ACTUALLY achieves 40 MPH+ top speeds uses at least a 60V system, if not 72V. Don't get me wrong, with a strep enough hill I've hit 46 MPH on my Runner, but that was freewheeling, not under the power of the motor.
Bro, you need A52 Volt battery and a new control module with more amps to go that fast on a ridstar Q20. I own 1 that I've thrown like 8 hundo into so far
btw sometimes the bike manufacturers lie to you about the top speed i legally go 25kph i now could go 45 but when my bike says im going 45 im actualy going 35 and i go slowly faster you should c heck the speed on an app on ur phone
You're not going to go faster than 30 miles you just changing tire size your display may say you going 40 but you're really not it's because of certain Tire settings you're not tricking anything
he knows .. i already told him and my comment got deleted 😅.. probably his phone app is in kph not mph.. but the light is to low so we cant really see the screen! but yhea the tire size wont change the real speed
@@stevem9141 the question is whether or not he's showing mph or km. I would assume he is smart enough not to make that mistake but I just can't believe that can be achieved without at least stepping up on the battery voltage.
Actual tire size will 100% yield higher top speed if they are larger/taller. As it’s determining speed by rpm. If a larger tire rotated at the same rpm as a smaller tire the outside of that larger tire will have to travel more distance in the exact same amount of time. That means the vehicle will go slightly faster. This is why when you use a motorcycle engine in a shifter cart the top speed is always slower than the bike’s top speed was. Basically it’s changing the final gear ratio.

Stock but I prefer using my phone turned to the side using speedmeter app cuz the screens easier for me to see. When the sun's out I can barely read the little screen.
@FrostySauce getting a higher top speed needs more wattage, not amperage! The controller regulates the amps. The only way to hit 43+mph would be a 60v battery with a 40+amp controller. It's basic math that you obviously don't understand!
@Ticonderoga. 43+ mph? on a stock 48v battery 22amp controller is 1000w. Changing p6 will only give an accurate speedometer setting based on wheel diameter in inches. This does not increase amps. Even if you change to a 35a controller ( the max a stock 48v battery can handle), you only get more torque at the same top speed. 60v battery is the only way to get to 43mph.
Ya you can’t go 40 on a 48v. Like everyone else said you messed with the tire size and that just makes your display useless. How can you not tell that ur not going faster than originally. You might get 1mph faster from the tires if they are super inflated but no 35 or 40+ watched this for nothing
Bro, unless you weigh 25lbs, there's no way you are doing 40+ on that bike. I have a 52v, Revv1 and can only get 38mph. My 3000 watt 52v X Class with a 80 amp controller maxed out can only go 45 mph. Stop it. I have to thumbs down this video because of the capping.
Cool upgrade 👍enjoy !
Sick video liked towards the end!🔥🔥🔥
Your videos have definitely been improving keep um coming!
DOPE VID!!! KEEP THEM COMING o yeah and i took the sound from the back off by unscrewing the one closest to the break pad it touches
Appreciate it fam 💯 🤘😎

yo great vid, where did you find that demon you stick on the frame? it looks so good

Can you link the products that you used to make it go fast

@bbobby15 ya and a lot of people believe it does my bike was already unlocked out of the box
He’s using a gps speed app, not the bike display

I ran strait to the garage to lock on those settings thanks mate!🔥😎
Did it work did you get 40mph
Can you send what kind of new wheels you got? Thanks

how much were tires I like em
this is the pro right?
Did you say baby#7?
I did gonna be posting a new motorvlog tonight with him in it stay tuned!
i have a v20 and i only go 30 mph still good enough to pull wheelies tho
I struggle with keeping the weight up but honestly this was my first try on my Ridstar.
i tried using your exact same setting on my ridstar q20, but it didnt improve the speed, i passed a road speedometer and i only went 33
Same here , capped at 33.
Gotta get the 3k motor kit with 72v battery easily does 50
Are u using a new display or stock display?
Stock but I prefer using my phone turned to the side using speedmeter app cuz the screens easier for me to see. When the sun's out I can barely read the little screen.
7 kids ?? Damn my dawg !
The Nick Cannon effect
🤣🤣🤣
👍🏽⚡️
Your not hitting 40 mph on a stock 48v battery bud.
😭
He did he used his phone to see thst too

Yes

Anybody try this on the q20 pro? I already get 37mph on my pro, but that’s only according to the stock LCD
you change wheel size on the display for that speed ?
🤣🤣
